The Secret Island

The Secret Island

Celine laid three bikinis on a bed in a small hotel she booked online two weeks earlier. Which one should I pick? Red… black… or leopard? Anything is fine, actually. She felt confident in everything she wears anyway. Besides, being alone on this island that barely has any tourists shouldn’t cause much worry about appearance anyway. Since she left the boat and set foot on this island, the atmosphere here was quite calming, part of her was glad to escape the hectic life of the university, but part of her was concerned that the island was so quiet. Perhaps, I’m scared of my own thoughts.

Desire (Wish, Book Two)

Desire (Wish, Book Two)

“Look over there. It’s dry there. Why is it wet here?” Almost as if Rachel has heard the question, her voice soars over to us. “The islands are not as simple as you think they are. The only island relatively normal is the Level Zero island. The rest are quite dangerous. You can walk directly from burning rays of the sun into rain and yet the sun is out on the other side. The forests in particular are more dangerous. As you advance to each island, you will notice that the level of danger increases. Which is why we don’t recommend students running around.” I suddenly remember my first day on this island when Anderson had pushed my hand into a stream full of vicious piranhas. I’d almost forgott

The League of Rogues

The League of Rogues

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean" She looked up, a small smile on her lips. "It is all right. I understand what you meant. And this is certainly an interesting book. This woman finds herself stranded on an island after her ship breaks apart on the rocks. She swims to shore but is utterly alone until she spies a figure on a distant hill" "Aw You found out my secret." He recognized the book. It was called Lady Isabelle and the Lord of the Dark Isle. It was one of L. R. Gloucester's works, a rather torrid Gothic novel.

The Island

The Island

The Island came into view and Mark stood up at the windows for a better look. It was gorgeous, a tropical paradise of palm trees and beautiful white sandy beaches. The cliffs that rose up out of the water to the east and west were natural and rugged and the structures he could see seemed to enhance the natural beauty rather than detract from it. "It's better than I imagined," Mark admitted. "I know," Jasmine said, standing beside him. "I love it here." Mark could feel the nerves building in his stomach again as the boat approached the pier and all too soon it was alongside it, the crew tying the Betsy against it. He could see several people waiting at the end of the pier and he took a deep b

Taking a Chance on Love: The Youngers Book 2

Taking a Chance on Love: The Youngers Book 2

Realizing she needed to turn around so she wasn’t wandering around in the dark, she headed back to the cabin, following her muddy footprints. She wasn’t far from the cabin when movement caught her attention in her peripheral vision. She squinted: there was a small island in the middle of the creek. Where she was now, the creek was at least one hundred feet wide, give or take. It looked as if an embankment that started from the other side of the creek had essentially become an island from the rising waters. And in the middle of the island was a small animal—a squirrel?

Lucian and Arabella

Lucian and Arabella

“Lucian, there’s something else out there, do you see it?” Lucian shaded his eyes to get a better look at where Arabella was pointing. At first, he didn’t get what Arabella was seeing. He looked along the line of islands that made up this group and still did not get it. Finally, Arabella grabbed Lucian’s head and pointed it in the direction she was indicating. Finally, Lucian understood. There were new islands that had popped up along the chain of islands, one very close to Santurary. Water was still running off the new islands as though they had just arrived to the surface. Which indeed they had.

The Alpha King's Breeder

The Alpha King's Breeder

How are we ever going to be able to find Isla or even communicate with one another? My frustration grows even more, but then I see something in the book that might be of use. I nuzzle against Brendan’s arm, and he stops. It’s a map of a waterfall in a stone outcropping next to a mountain. There’s not much on the map to tell me where it would be located in the big scheme of things, but I think I see a marking that would indicate where the dock is. So… I can figure out the general direction we should be traveling from that and then navigate toward the mountain when we get closer.

Krystal Alise Bopp
These books have been my lifeline. I am crushed to reach this point and have to leave this beautifully tragic world and all its perfectly flawed characters. I can't wait for the next update, and honestly hope (though I know it is in vain) we get to follow this family tree for even more generations.

His Secret Obsession

His Secret Obsession

I said, before encouraging her to get up from the sad. “I hope you are right pearl, it sure would be miserable to die here” I smiled, “Let's find some food, we passed a stream a while back, let's see if we can get fresh water and we could be lucky, see some fishes” I cheered. She nodded and soon we decided to explore the little island, it barely had any viable plantation in it, but luckily the stream was clean enough to drink from and there were fishes. “See!” I beamed, “We can stay alive”, she smiled, “I guess you are right, but im not wandering further than this, we can try to take refuge in one of these caves” she mentioned.

MARRIED TO MY ENEMY BILLIONAIRE

MARRIED TO MY ENEMY BILLIONAIRE

Part 1: Across the Sea The boat cut through the dark water. The wind carried the scent of salt and rain. Lina stood at the bow, clutching the sealed envelope. Somewhere beyond the horizon... Her mother was waiting. Or so she hoped. Part 2: The Map She carefully unfolded the map. It revealed a small island hidden far from the mainland. There were no names. Only one symbol. The Eclipse crest. Adrian studied it. "This island doesn't appear on any public charts."

Deprived: Queen of the Outcasts

Deprived: Queen of the Outcasts

His touch was like ice against my burning skin, a welcome relief. "You’re pushing too hard," he whispered, his eyes full of a fierce, protective love. "We’re halfway across," I gasped, looking at the horizon. Through the thinning mist, I could see them—the golden spires of the Jade Isles. They weren't built on land; they were floating islands of white jade, held aloft by massive, glowing Sol-Cores. "They know we're here," Jace said, landing beside us. He pointed toward the islands. A swarm of tiny, glowing dots was rising from the Jade capital. "Those aren't birds. Those are Sol-Flies—single-pilot interceptors. Thousands of them."
