The Billionaires

The Billionaires

“I haven’t really thought about it. I didn’t think it was good enough and I was just writing because I love writing. It’s an escape for me. When I write I live in another world, where I can make whatever I want happen.” He smiles. “If you draft out a query letter to a literary agency I’ll get Sophia, my secretary, to do all the legwork for you. She can find the appropriate agencies and send out your sample chapter, CV or whatever they require.” “Really?” He shrugs. “Why not? There’s no point keeping it locked up in your laptop.” I grin again. “Okay.” “Good.” “Thank you, Nikolai. It’s very kind of you.” His face closes over again, as if he has just remembered that we are not supposed to be fr

The Luna He Never Deserved

The Luna He Never Deserved

“No buts, Raya. Do it. After all, you've spent more than that drafting deals that landed that punk contracts with prestigious Packs and companies.” Soon I filled out all the fields, typing the last paragraph. Reference available upon request. It was attached alongside my application letter. “Let me see.” She shoved the screen towards herself, frowning as she dragged the cursor to reduce the brightness. “What?” I shrugged. “I couldn't see.” She sighed and returned to the screen, mumbling everything I had written. “Thank you for considering my application. Yours faithfully, Naraya Veils.” “Yeah.” She clapped her hands before pulling me into a hug. “This is... It's perfect, Raya.”

Fangs: Queen Luna

Fangs: Queen Luna

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Author's Letter Hi it's me, Maple Writes I felt like the world was doubting I could do it. After being scouted by some editors, I was brought to GoodNovel by one of the head and best Editors, who messaged me to write on their platform. A mere 18 year old girl writing a werewolf story with mature and cryptic scenes.

Something So Sweet

Something So Sweet

“Just did.” “Sorry. Still not quite up to snuff. You’ll let her know, won’t you?” Ron gave an almost-sincere smile before heading to his office. I dropped the manuscript on my desk with a thump and sighed. Joy Needermeyer, author of a fantastic sci-fi novel, was a sixty-eight-year-old woman from a teensy little town not far from June Lake. I’d been pushing for Ron to take her on for months, and he kept brushing me off.

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

Lily promptly apologized, "We don't mean to pry. A lovely girl like you, with books, coffee, and a laptop—it just seemed too artistic! You're perfect for my company!" Rachael discreetly intervened, grabbing her employer. Lily always brought up her company in conversations, aiming to sign the most exceptional and lucrative authors. "I'm writing a novel." Maisie blushed. "But it's just the outline." "Really?" Lily's eyes gleamed. Her intuition told her that Maisie was a talented writer. She wanted to take a look but feared Maisie might be unwilling to share. As such, she chatted casually, "Have you finished the outline? Do you have a clear idea of where it's going? What's the genre?"

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

Letters And Lies

Letters And Lies

His shoulders twitched as he moved, muscles clenching by each movement. Come on Phoebe, you can do it. “uh..Conrad?” my eyes flustered shut impulsively. “I'm Phoebe…uhm fifi, I've had a crush on you for years, I wrote this for you…” My hands trembled as I held out my letter, my eyes still closed. My heart tightened as he took the letter, a small smile forming at the side of my lips. This was it. He would read my letter and understand how deeply in love I was.

CEO's UNEXPECTED WIFE

CEO's UNEXPECTED WIFE

Her fingers, so sure a moment before, fumbled now. She pulled out the first page from the new stack. It was a formal cover letter addressed to a Mr. Alistair Finch, Director of the Trust. Subject line: RE: THE CARTER CANDIDACY. Being considered? She had been a winner, not someone being considered for some secret review. The letter was just a simple confirmation, saying that "the first funding package has been approved and is ready for payment." It was signed with a name she sort of recognized as Grant's longtime executive assistant. Her blood ran cold.

Scorned By Husband, Claimed By His Alpha Rival

I adjusted a sleepy Esme on my lap, holding her with one arm as I scrolled frantically through the email with my free hand, my eyes glued to the screen. [Greetings! Ms. Holloway, I'm Theresa Steele, Editor-in-chief here at Bloodhound Press. I hope this email finds you well...] I skimmed through the pleasantries and the details of his review of my work, which were filled with genuine praise for my writing style and my ability to keep readers on the edge of their seat.

My Best Friend’s Father Wants me

My Best Friend’s Father Wants me

I still hadn’t gotten it out of my system. I raised my head and looked at my laptop. I still had the draft of a query letter I had typed out to Anthony, on my email. I was still contemplating sending it. However, there was no direct evidence that he had done anything to prove that he had done anything inappropriate. I set the file down and exhaled. I would get the information from her soon enough. I checked the computer screen. Work was over and I wasted no time in grabbing my phone and calling Enora.

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

--- The response that mattered most arrived in April. It was not a review. It was a letter—a handwritten letter, forwarded by the publisher, from a woman in the north of England who had read the book in February when it had appeared in her local library. The letter was written on blue paper, the kind that was sold in packets at stationery shops, the paper with the watermark that indicated it was good quality without being expensive. The handwriting was careful—the handwriting of someone who had taken time to form the letters correctly, who had perhaps written multiple drafts before settling on the final version.
