Novel Wines Novels & Stories

BLAISE I released the sheet of paper from my grip, gazing at the scattered sheets on my table. Our new wine production was progressing smoothly. Despite our partners' hesitation due to rumours of my kidnapping and coercion of young women, our advertisement alone had attracted numerous business opportunities. Restaurants, wine shops, and affluent members of society planning lavish parties across the country sought our wine. The demand for our latest production was soaring, even before we had conducted any wine tasting. The wine production process was still in the sanitization phase, and the wine hadn't been bottled yet, but everyone yearned for a taste of it.

His fury. Now, the city of Clovis belongs to him, hook line and sinker. He inhales the fresh air through the open window, the wind carrying the scent of triumph mixed with the earthy tang of spilled blood. A glass of an Italian Amarone della Valpolicella 1951—an exotic Veneto red wine made out of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes—rests in his hand, the liquid catching the fading moon’s reflection, as if it too is tainted with the blood of his enemies. His eyes drift toward a nova that has appeared briefly in the darken skies, seeing nothing but a symbol of victory through it, yet feeling the weight of it, heavy as iron shackles.

I hesitated but obeyed, the scent of Snowfang pack lands faintly lingering around Nathan. Nathan’s attention shifted sharply back to me once the others resumed a dialogue about pack politics. He poured me a glass of wine. His movements were fluid, considerate, as if this was second nature to him. "Special blend from the Snowfang vineyards," he explained, noticing my cautious sip. The wine tasted exquisite—light but full of intricate notes that instantly reminded me of the Snowfang territory’s renowned exports. "You’ve kept busy." Nathan’s comment wasn’t probing, but his tone invited openness.

They waited for her to continue. “There is a bottle of wine that I want for my wedding—Mona Estate Vineyard, Gabernet Sauvignon, 2016.” Rivena said, “I tried calling that vineyard, but the owner is not responding. Can you go down there and see what happened? And if anyone of you can bring back a bottle for me, that would be nice.” “Absolutely,” Damien nodded. “Anything for you, Luna Rivena,” Westin smiled. The two men glanced at each other. Both were determined to win.

I wanted to ask if they knew their boss was a kidnapper who drugged and spied on women, but I suspected Giulio wouldn't translate for me. Our last stop was at the vineyard, where the vines stretched as far as the eye could see. The property grew Gaglioppo and Greco bianco grapes, which they blended to make red and rosé wines. They also made nigredo , a licorice-flavored grappa – and I quickly discovered that this was my favorite thing on earth. “Calm down, signorina,” said Vincenzo, the winemaker, as I took another sip. — Ravazzani grappa should be savored.

He felt that the young lady had something to say, but couldn’t tell why she was still standing there when she should have picked up the document and stepped out already. “Mr. Brent, I don’t drink.” Selene stated flatly without mincing words. He suddenly raised a brow in interest and began to clarify, “My bad… It’s a non-alcoholic wine. The first of it’s kind So, you don’t need to bother about anything else.” Selene relaxed at those words, but Penn Wine Hub was still ringing in her ears, and she just couldn’t get the strange feeling it brought. It sounded very familiar, but she was unable to connect the dots about why she was apprehensive about them.

Before we could answer, Nicolete left , closing the door. He moved out of my way and I turned the bottle label in my direction. It was a North B wine. The label was red and white and the big B, in cursive, looking old, handwritten, with a rounded shape, followed by a, r, b, a, r, a Novaes. I felt my heart wanting to get out of my chest. My eyes stared into the intense greens, which still held traces of alcohol daydreams, which I could already identify, even though I knew little about him.

Every grape harvested was carefully selected, handpicked at the peak of ripeness, and fermented with precision in their state-of-the-art cellars. Their Cabernet Sauvignons were robust and full-bodied, with notes of blackcurrant and hints of oak. The Merlots were velvety smooth, with a lingering finish that left enthusiasts yearning for more. Even their blends, crafted with a masterful blend of varietals, garnered critical acclaim.

He is massaging my feet, it feels like heaven. In one hand I have a nice full bodied red wine from one of the Bodega VIP brands. I swirl it around and inhale the heady aroma. A mix of almonds, blossom and blackberry. “This is one of the finest, right?” I say as Dante forms small circles on my foot. “It is one of the best but you know it is not one of the most exclusive. In Capri, they are working on a new blend.” I raise my eyebrows. “I didn’t know that nobody had informed me. I should take Xander there.” Instantly the small circles stop and Dante looks at me with a cocked eyebrow.

President Blossom said taking the new wine procedures and documents from her secretary and submitted them. Mrs. Grace went through it for a while just to be sure it was different from the initial submitted wine sample. "Okay this would do," She said lifting her head to stare at Lindsey. "No new wines from Warris?" She asked. "Erm, Actually we didn't know....." Vanessa was saying when Lindsey cut in sharply. "Yes we do," Lindsey said stunning everyone.
