Novels Without Romance Novels & Stories

Hi! My novel, 'From The 28th Century' had reached 100+ chapters which I did not expect. I just wanna say that I'm not good at writing romance stories, so the romance here might be a little off. I'm still learning and hope I could achieve writing a romance story. :)))) Everything about this story was all of my imaginations, so it is quite different from the other cultivation stories. This is my first story and I cannot promise that this would be a perfect novel. I admit there are tons of mistakes, but I would do my best to improve.

I forced my brain to assimilate the words until I couldn't take it any longer. I loved reading, in fact I had huge collections of crime and mystery novels because they were my favorite genre, but romance and historical . . . anything? Count me out. There was just something about ‘soulmates’ and romance that just grossed me out and the fact that this book had both just made me hate it. I stretched and yawned as I reached for my bed. I fell on my bed, face down. I didn't bother with my purple and white duvet as I let myself fall into slumber, Kenneth's smiling face the last thing I thought of.

Maybe it was just a desperate attempt to feel useful. When I finished, I drIfted to the bookshelf near the fireplace. I scanned the tItles slowly, looking for somethIng light. Anything without mates, romance, or fated connections. The irony wasn’t lost on me, I was trapped in a twisted version of one of those stories. Only in mine, there was no love. No happy ending. Just guilt, betrayal, and aching confusion. I chose a hIstorical novel and curled up by the window. The cardIgan and fuzzy socks I wore kept the cold at bay, at least physically. But my thoughts wouldn’t quiet.

It’s a romance novel entitledBuilt from Stoneabout a girl who goes hiking and gets caught in a storm, only to be rescued by a rough mountain man who takes her home to his cabin where…thingshappen. Clarisse gets me books like this occasionally. I think she knows they’re more educational than enjoyable to me. Having never had a boyfriend, I’m completely ignorant of how to please a man. These books at least give me somewhat of an idea. I used to be able to picture the heroes in my mind, but ever since I met Rhett, all I see is his face.

We never had the chance to sit down and converse with each other, so I was surprised when she began reading a spicy fantasy romance novel while sitting beside my bed. It seemed ages ago when I stopped reading fantasy romances and began living in one of them, so I am not sure if I would ever enjoy reading them again. I haven’t had time to read anything except for my mother’s journals and the medicine books from the coven, so it was a pleasant change to hear something different. It was as if we were gossiping about someone else’s life. In the books, we didn’t have to worry about real-world problems; any conflict or issue was not ours to resolve. The pages gave us something to be excited about.

Then, it just froze and asked Ernesta back, “Weird how?” “Don't you think it's kind of illogical?” After checking its system data, 001 came up with an answer, “Did you forget, master? This is a romance novel world, and romance novels don't need to make too much sense. All the stuff that happens is just meant to make the main characters fall in love.” Ernesta had never read a romance novel, so she didn't get it. But she had a completely different explanation than 001.

Anyway, after all my ongoing books have been completed, I've decided to focus mainly on MM romances (billionaires, mafias and maybe wolves ;)] with a little sprinkle forbidden romances and realllyyy spicy smut I'll meet you in those new worlds. Really EFFING LOVE YOU
