A Promise To Forever

A Promise To Forever

I slowly realized the presence of his right hand between the wall and my head, his palm holding my head. I could smell his signature cologne which was a rich chocolate mixed with some other smell that felt oddly familiar. When I looked closely into his eyes, I found myself getting drawn into them, feeling strange as well as familiar at the same time. Those eyes, just like the smell, felt oddly familiar to me, like I'd seen them before. It was impossible because this was the first time I'd been this close to him to be able to really look into his eyes. Yet it looked like I knew them. His soft breath just a few centimeters away from mine shook me out of my thoughts and I found a set a full, in

The Illusion of Forever

The Illusion of Forever

"Luna, I know you're not happy about Ash staying with us, but I already promised her she could stay for a while. Don't worry, she won't be here long. She's in a fragile state right now, and she needs someone to take care of her." I gave a muffled response. "Do whatever pleases you." The next moment, I felt his hand resting on my waist, and he began to caress me in slow circles. His breath became heavier at the same time. Something inside my mind snapped, like a bomb going off. The man I had loved for a decade was now someone I barely recognized, someone who had become rotten from the inside out. "Nicholas," I said, my tone cold and sharp. "Have you forgotten I'm pregnant?"

Farewell to Forever

Farewell to Forever

Claire laughed and looked at the ring on her finger with gentle eyes, "I will wear it until my death. Then, in the afterlife, I will show him my finger and this ring. I will say, 'I still wear this ring, and my heart still belongs to you. Even though your heart is no longer mine, will you marry me?' I will propose to him. I will even force him to marry me." Claire tried to laugh, but in the end, I could see her crying. On the back page of Alex's manuscript, I inserted the sentence that Alex repeatedly wrote in his diary. "Love never burdens, it lightens the one who has it and the one who loves." At least the man loved someone in his own way. Even though his way eventually killed him too. I s

As Siberia hesitated, torn between duty and desperation, the hospital's cold, unyielding walls seemed to close in around her. In the stillness of the night, Siberia made a choice that would set into motion a sequence of events with far-reaching consequences. The echoes of desperation lingered in the air, drowning out the hope that had once burned brightly in her heart. The second chapter of this harrowing saga unfolded, casting a shadow over the thin line that separated heroism from the darkness within.

The Huntress

The Huntress

There are books below to keep you company. Narcissus. I peered down beneath the table in pure curiosity and there I saw more books. The hopeless romantic books that I had to read. It ends with us and ugly love by Colleen Hoover stood out the most to me. I read reviews on it and it seemed good. It was actually on my next turn list but then I got engaged in the ace of spades that was a part of the collection that Narc had sent and annotated.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Now forever simply felt gentle. Like another morning waiting patiently ahead. Adrian kissed her softly while thunder rolled again outside. Slow. Warm. Certain. And somewhere between midnight storms, shared quiet, and the breathtaking realization that love no longer felt like something they had to desperately hold together— they understood something extraordinary. Forever stopped feeling frightening the moment they finally trusted that peace could survive the storm too.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.
