Demigod Games Novels & Stories

The System announced, "Your mission is complete. You can return now. "Shane will disappear for eternity, and never be reborn." A happiness I had never felt before surged through me, and I rushed back to Eugene's home as quickly as I could. It had only been a few hours, but it felt like an eternity. Eugene was speaking with his dog.

He wanted to know what he was supposed to do once he had the blood in his streams. "Is it not obvious?" Malden asked. "Once you have the blood of the demigods in your streams, you become like them. You get powerful and your energy matches them. And you are capable of commanding them, even in their deepest sleep..." Deagan listened keenly. And he now understood why Jason looked for him. In the history of demigods, only their offspring, someone with their blood was allowed to command them! "So, that naturally means that if I get to the valley, I can awaken them?" Deagan asked.

I suppose the absence of emotional connection was normal considering the enormous gap of missing memories, but then I could now remember who I was except now it appeared I am not what I thought I was. “The gods had this habit of taking a break from their duties and coming to earth to live and mate with humans. Inadvertently, children are made from this union. These children naturally develop supernatural powers that cause them to make Zeus uncomfortable. You see, the gods of Olympia have a history of using demigods to fight wars. Zeus and his brothers did it to their predecessors. So he knew the kind of threat that posed. When it didn’t look like it was going to stop, he called them all back

Why do you call them that? He shrugged his shoulders and walked towards the window overlooking the balcony. "Because it's easier that way." "I see. But what are they called? " "Direct descendants of the moon gods." "You mean they're some sort of demi-god?" He nodded without looking at me. "Yes, demigods." This is a whole new experience. Were they what my uncle had been referring to as monsters? It was still all too surreal for me. I couldn't wrap my head around it, no matter how hard I tried to.

They could have as many children as they would want, but from their many children, only one must be able to remain in the immortal realm, whilst the rest lived as mortals in the mortal realm. That was the rule. The children of deities were granted immortality after the age of twenty five, that is, if they were picked to remain in the immortal realm, but, they weren't given any powers as their parents. They simply become immortal until the time has come for them to either be selected to become a deity, or killed in a war or battle. CHAPTER FOUR: WHAT ARE THE DANGERS OF BECOMING A DEITY? Deities are easily targeted by the dark gods and demons, since they act as a bridge to the gods and goddess

So safe and so friendly. Dr. Kole? Sky blinks his eyes twice, thrice, again and again, but he is seeing the same person. Dr. Kole is the exact replica of Kai. What is this again? Is heaven so angry with him that they twist his fate and made the person he first asks for help looks the same as his husband? Is his suffering not enough? Are five years not enough for gods to pity him? to at least let him have just a little glimmer of hope?

Now, they are in a quandary because Giselle and Marcus have no other offspring besides Arnanta. "Then I heard rumors of a prophecy that a goddess of mixed blood would come to save my people," he explains. "A goddess? Why is she called a goddess?" the girl asked curiously. "Because she was born of mixed blood. According to my people's beliefs, a person born to a wolf nation and a pure human is a goddess and a god. One day she will save the two nations from the cruelty of the vampires," he said. "Was there ever a goddess in the kingdom before?" Brizella was getting excited to ask.

Yet one thing remained constant. The fight for the realm was indeed coming and each god who had a stake in this realm was already putting in place their pawns. This is why Lamia had been fated to Mathias and not to Kellen. Only the demigods could fight against the gods and stand a chance. And Ashe was determined for her champions to win the war once and for all. Many gods did not care, this was but one realm amongst hundreds of thousands. But there were still those who once ruled these lands that craved to be in control once again.

He yearned for the Demigod’s realm, which was the world’s top combat power. “The Demigods are almighty,” he explained. “They are capable of toppling mountains and overturning seas. The war between Demigods is comparable to that between Gods. They are impervious to any external force. Not even a sniper rifle and a rocket launcher can break through their aura.

I nearly choked on my water, blinking at her in stunned silence. She let out a melodious chuckle. “You see, the blood of a demigod is pure toxicity to the Gods. Did you know the High Ones frequently sire children with mortals simply to utilize them as tools? They are bound by ancient, cosmic laws, but demigods are not. You were born to do the dirty work the Gods cannot do themselves. It is quite a tragic existence, to be born as a loophole.” My heart hammered against my ribs. To be born as a tool for the divine?
