Rejected by My Mate, Claimed by the Triplet Alphas

Rejected by My Mate, Claimed by the Triplet Alphas

“I don’t know that either. Nobody’s ever documented a pathway like this closing back down once it started strengthening. That doesn’t mean it can’t happen. It means nobody’s written it down if it did.” Nathan had been quiet at the head of the table, arms crossed, and now he leaned forward. “You’re making it sound like wanting her is dangerous.” “I’m saying it has consequences you don’t control.” “Everything has consequences. That doesn’t mean I stop wanting her because you’ve got a graph that says it accelerates something.” “I’m not asking you to stop wanting her. I’m asking you to understand what wanting her is actually doing, so none of us keep pretending this is only romantic.”

Lies Have Consequences

Lies Have Consequences

My counselor, Ms. Carter, turned a stack of papers around and pushed it toward me. It was a printout of the message board posts, with several long sections of comments highlighted. She frowned and tapped the post. "The whole university is talking about this. Trying to one-up other students, flaunting your wealth, and bullying someone on financial aid have made the department look terrible. The administration is already asking questions. How about this… Apologize to Viola, and we can put this behind us."

Auctioned Bride Of The Cursed Alpha

Auctioned Bride Of The Cursed Alpha

“But it doesn't change anything. You’re younger and stupid sometimes. But you’re not that stupid.” I swallowed. Did this man actually have an idea what sort of things I had done? Well, mine wasn't this cruel. The case was different and for a good cause, I guess. “Whatever choice Nathan made had consequences the second he decided to do it. He should’ve thought about the consequences. You have six arrows and six bullets to use on him. If you miss one, then it’s adds two extra shots. If you want him alive that bad, then try not to kill him,” Xlynor said with a tone of finality.

Left by My Fiancé, Loved by His Uncle

Left by My Fiancé, Loved by His Uncle

Sonia scoffed and straightened her back. “You’ve always been good with words, Nathaniel. But words alone aren’t enough. Your actions back then your actions now they all have consequences. There are many people who still doubt your decisions.” Nathaniel looked at her not angry, only restraining himself from responding sharply. “I understand their doubts. And I’m not asking everyone to immediately trust this decision. But I’m confident if we focus on the results, everything will prove itself.”

Somewhere in the silence

Somewhere in the silence

And for the first time since the night before, Nate allowed himself to stop thinking about consequences. He didn't think about Micah. He didn't think about the distance. He didn't think about their age difference. He didn't think about residency. He didn't think about what came next. He simply lay there. Warm. Confused. Terrified. And painfully aware that somewhere during the months he'd spent fighting his feelings, something had changed. Something permanent. Nate slowly closed his eyes again. He couldn't let himself think about it again. Not if he wanted to do the right thing.

The Lies Behind Her Marriage

The Lies Behind Her Marriage

“Nathan, what are we? In the eighteenth century?” He groaned. “…Modern convenience has truly ruined romance.” “Pull the car over at the nearest NC Pharmacy branch,” he instructed the driver. Later, their vehicle pulled to a stop. Nathaniel stepped out and walked into one of their pharmacy branches, the staff immediately recognizing him. “Mr. Thorne, good evening.” “What can we help you with, Mr. Thorne?” Nathaniel merely nodded. Then, he scanned the rows of condoms. Super thin. Check. Brand currently being questioned for product failure. Check.

Consequences Of Love

Consequences Of Love

After some time, everything felt normal again. We still go for our tutorial classes as usual. But of late, Nathan had stopped calling me. When I call him, he misses my calls and won't return it. I have complained to his sister on several occasions about his nonchalant behavior. He calls Sandra and his parents but doesn't call me. He comes online once in a while to update his profile and post pictures of him with school mates. I wonder why he leaves my text messages on read. When I managed to get to him, he gives excuses like he's been busy or having a rough time in school. It was as if our relationship wasn't a priority anymore.

Promises We Made at Seventeen

Promises We Made at Seventeen

(Her POV; His POV briefly intersecting) Consequences don’t arrive in sequence. They don’t respect narrative pacing or emotional readiness. They don’t knock, announce themselves, and wait for you to sit down. They show up unevenly—some loud, some subtle, some disguised as neutrality. I learn this the hard way. The first consequence is external. A door closes. Not slammed. Not dramatized. Just… unavailable. A follow-up email never comes. A conversation that once felt promising dissolves into polite distance.

A Contract The Empire Couldn't Break

A Contract The Empire Couldn't Break

Questions that could not be dismissed once asked. The kind of pressure that did not bruise. It eroded. As Nathaniel left the room to initiate the first sequence, Lillian remained behind, feeling the weight of the choice settle into place. This was no longer defense. And it was not vengeance. It was consequence. And consequence, once set in motion, did not care who had power. Only who had left a trace. The war had shifted again. Not toward chaos. Toward accountability that could no longer be outrun.

Divorced by the Billionaire, Pregnant with His Heir

Divorced by the Billionaire, Pregnant with His Heir

Current Elena looked at the data. “How much consequence?” The unseen woman said quietly: “Enough.” “How much?” No answer. Root scanned. Then her face changed. “Containment pressure is increasing.” Jonathan appeared on the network. “What containment?” The signal expanded. Pain that had been prevented. Physical consequences. Deaths that did not occur. Injuries that never landed. Wars that never manifested. Causal outcomes rejected from selected worlds. Not people. Not identities. Pure unrealized consequence structures. The gray-eyed woman whispered:
