Lie To Me Alpha

his voice thundering around the hall. "No Matteo, you may submit Alera to you but you can never submit me physically to you. I can say whatever my mouth wants to say, I can walk wherever I want to go and my body can do whatever it wants without submitting to you." My voice was filled with determination not stopping there I continued on. "And as you have just said, I’m your mate supposed to be the future luna of this pack so no. I reject you Acting Alpha Matteo Evan Reed"

The grammar make it hard to read. The author writes in past and present tense in the same sentence quite frequently. It needs a good edit, but the story is amazing. Characters are well developed and I'm intrigued to see what happens next

Only a child who wouldn't understand English don't follow through the plot of the story. People keep calling out the author's grammar and spelling on here but there are worst books than this one and yet they don't call out those authors. I understand the book very well and the English wasn't bad.

“No, you did everything right.” “Then what if I reject him again?” I ask. “Do I just... say it again?” Dev nods, still focused on Nathan like he might lunge again. So I square my shoulders and do it. “I, Nyx Laurent, reject you, Nathan Swift, Alpha of the Moon Goddess Pack, as my mate.” Nathan drops to his knees like I just stabbed him. He clutches his chest, sobbing through gritted teeth. “I accept your rejection,” he gasps out, broken and wrecked.

The Devil's Moon (The Road Devils Motorcycle Club 6)

The Devil's Moon (The Road Devils Motorcycle Club 6)

Nala looked at him for a long second, hatred and heartbreak tangling together so tightly inside her chest she could barely separate one emotion from the next. “You tell him,” she whispered hoarsely. “You tell Cole what you did.” Something flickered across Wheels’ face then, something unreadable and brief, before disappearing entirely. “Get the fuck outta here.” Nala turned and walked away because every instinct she possessed told her not to run. Running triggered pursuit; running made predators chase. So she forced herself to walk steadily across the prison parking lot even though her legs barely felt attached to her body anymore. The cold Colorado wind cut across her face, carrying the shar

My Alpha, My Desire

My Alpha, My Desire

Who would comfort me on nights when I felt like a total waste of space? My eyes became glassy with unshed tears as I clutched my dress, watching how Jackson's eyes flickered between blue and black. He was fighting with his wolf. He finally won, his eyes turning blue, “I Jackson Wells, reject you Kayla Deen as my mate and future Luna,” The tears I had been trying to hold in came out as my lips trembled from too many emotions, “I, Kayla Deen accept your rejection.” I said and moved away from the garden to my room which had always given me comfort. The pain was there, the pain of being rejected. It hurt more than anything I had ever experienced in my entire life.

After the Rejection I Became His Luna

After the Rejection I Became His Luna

That home was always here, but the world was open to us now. Before we left again, I finished compiling my writings into a complete manuscript. My memoir. The travelogue. The documentation of progressive pack culture across two continents. "What are you going to call it?" Maya asked. I thought about my journey. From rejection to leadership. From despair to purpose. From broken to whole. "After the Rejection, I Became His Luna," I said. "But that's just the first part. The second part is about everything that came after. After the power. After the victory. After the main story ended, but life continued."

Once Upon A Rejected Luna

Once Upon A Rejected Luna

These are the people who my parents wanted me to stay away from. And finally, they're gone from the surface of the earth and I'm in love with a man that I never thought I'd be in love with. This is the end of my curse. “I do not have to be a cursed luna.” I do not have to be the rejected Luna. I am Maria. The girl who did not give up on love and managed to destroy her enemies. If I were a story, written in a book, I would be a never ending tales. This is my story.

The alpha’s rejection

The alpha’s rejection

The night was heavy with unspoken words and unresolved tension. After the confrontation with my uncle and aunt, I retreated to my room, the weight of Christopher’s rejection pressing down on me like a physical force. The envelope of money he’d given me sat on the edge of my desk, untouched, a silent reminder of his cold dismissal. I couldn’t bring myself to open it. It felt like accepting it would mean admitting defeat, and I wasn’t ready to do that—not yet.

Reclaiming The Rejected Luna’s Heart

Reclaiming The Rejected Luna’s Heart

Was I wishing for something because I was desperate, or was this real? “Damn it.” I whispered to myself, pulling my hair with both hands. Her rejection hit my pride hard. No woman had ever resisted me this much, much less brushed me off like that. But if this Whitney was really Wendy, her cold attitude explained a lot. Why else would she be so far away? I was suddenly overwhelmed by memories of what we went through—what I put her through in the past. I remembered how she looked at me then so innocent and trusting. And what did I do? I listened to lies, believed falsehoods, and let my family's anger destroy everything.

His Rejected Luna

His Rejected Luna

Before I can say anything, he cuts me off with something that is rarely heard of in the werewolf world. "I Terry Moore reject you, Sophia Moretti, as my mate and future Luna," he says each word piercing my heart. And with that, he walks off joining back to the party. I felt the connection to my wolf disappears as she whimpers at the fact our mate rejected us. I couldn't handle the pain I was feeling in the pit of my stomach. I looked at the backyard and the front door. The pain was too much for me to handle. I couldn't bare to see him again so I took of out the door into the forest. When I could see the pack border, I mind link my family.

His Rejected Luna

His Rejected Luna

I knew just the right one to visit. Carla was sitting by her window when the I walked in. She had once been a Luna of another pack, but was rejected by her mate when he caught her in the arms of another. “What can I say – my mother was a whore, I’m no different,” she had said to me as she narrated her story, blowing out smoke from her mouth, a thin cigarette held In her hand.

Bright, messy, and oddly tender, 'Take My Rejection Back' spins around a central what-if that kept me hooked: what if you could literally take back a refusal and try to fix the mess that follows? The novel opens on the sting of a breakup/rejection — sometimes sweet, sometimes humiliating — and then gives the protagonist a second shot. Instead of a straightforward time-travel mechanic, it weaves in a blend of whimsy and consequence: the chance to revisit key moments, to confront misunderstandings, and to realize that people change in small, stubborn ways.

I loved how the story balances laugh-out-loud embarrassment with quieter emotional payoffs. There are scenes where the hero tries to be braver and ends up worse, scenes where a tiny choice has big ripple effects, and a supporting cast that both complicates and comforts. Romance is central, but the real heart is the learning curve — about communication, ownership of feelings, and learning to apologize without losing yourself.

By the end, the reconciliation (or lack of it, depending on which route you take) feels earned rather than convenient. The book leaves you thinking about how many rejections are avoidable, and how much of love is practiced bravery. Personally, I closed the last page smiling and feeling like I’d just had a candid conversation with an old friend.
