I sighed, knowing his main purpose was nothing but death. "No problem, you know you're my number one right," I said in a playful tone, chuckling. I might as well make his last memory of me a good one, right? "Oh whatever, Athena Hendrix. I know. I will always be your number one," he said, a smirk crawling up on his face. I cringed as I looked at him. "I take that back," I said, pretending to gag. He laughed and turned to look at me.

"What of it?" Aurora reached inward, toward the warmth still humming beneath her skin, toward the bond that had ignited five times over on a single night that had changed everything. She thought of Damon's voice screaming her name against a barrier he couldn't break. She thought of Ryder's laughter, Kieran's quiet loyalty, Luca's careful calculations, Elias's hidden grief. Five threads, still connected, still pulling toward her even now, wherever they were. "They're still bonded to me," she said. "You didn't take that."

At least he has some fucking taste. Victor tries to bang his fist on the glass door, but I hold him back when I spot a piece of folded paper tucked behind the keypad of the smart doorbell. I pull out the paper, and when I open it, I curse when a scribbled five-digit number on the paper stares back at me. I show Victor the paper. "35018." He scoffs. "I guess this asshole really loves playing games." Screw him and his games!

asked Anthon "yes" I replied "why don't you play on your phone?" he said "uhm I don't have my phone" I replied looking down "I took her phone away yesterday anthon and I forgot it at home" victor said while keeping his gaze on road "Why?" asked Anthon "long story I'll tell you later, here you can play on my phone Lilith" (gave his phone) "and anyways your phone was quite old while going back form doctor we will buy you new phone and some stuffs you'll need soon"

The room was quiet as I could feel Dave's gaze on me. My heart was beating so fast, to the extend; I was afraid they could hear it. And finally, I opened the paper. And lo and behold i picked number 5. "Number Five!" I said my voice almost shaking Tala smirked as she looked at the paper she was holding..something in my guts told me to run away. But the voices in my head was interrupted when Tala spoke. "Number five is, give your partner a lap dance for 5 minute."

S = 1 E = 5 L = 3 E = 5 N = 5 A = 1 I wrote it down on a piece of paper: 1 - 5 - 3 - 5 - 5 - 1. My heart pounded so loud I thought it would crack my ribs. This had to be it. I leaned forward and typed the numbers into the lock, one by one. Click. Click. Click. The last number slid in. I froze. Holding my breath. And then— Nothing. No release. No sound. No click. Just silence.

Anna’s POV “Another unlock code!” I exclaimed. “You already used a code before. Why would you need to do it again?” “The code is 3-5-3-5-1-2!” Smith exclaimed. “Please help me press it on the screen and make the Safe open!”

This dream felt different, more real, yet something was amiss. Even in my most vivid dreams, Anton's smile hadn't been this radiant and innocent. It was an image that had long faded in my memories. "What's the date today?" I asked. Anton cocked his head. "Friday. Have you been studying so hard that you've lost track of time?" "No, I mean, what's the actual date?" I said. He chuckled, "March 25, 2011. You even reminded me this morning that tomorrow's your birthday. Don't tell me you've forgotten already?"

“We were together for five years! You loved me!” “Five years?” Evangeline raised an eyebrow, looking at me like I was insane. “Mr. Corvo, I think you’re mistaken.” “I’m not mistaken!” I begged, all my pride and dignity gone. “Evangeline, look at me! Do you really remember nothing?” “All I remember,” she said, her voice terrifyingly calm, “is that you are the mafia Don of Chicago. Nothing more.” I felt my heart being ripped out of my chest, bleeding and raw.

“Don't act like my protector now. Don't act like you care now.” Sebastian’s entire body goes rigid. I feel his hand flinch on my wrist and his eyes flare with a sudden shock as they go wide. He let out a sharp gasp, his eyes focused on me. “You… you remember?” he whispers, his voice trembling. He looks at me like I've just stabbed him in the heart. He leans in such that I can feel his hot breath. “Daisy, do you remember everything?” he asks, his voice cracking. “Did you… did you recover all of your memories? Do you know what happened five years ago?”
