I shrugged knowing a lie had just escaped my lips. "Anyways come sit down we have to lay out some rules." Justin said. Wow he's actually being more sweet than I remember him to be. But rules? Nah I don't fuck with that. "Rules?" I questioned. "Yeah, rule number one. No cussing, it's unladylike. Rule number two: you give us whatever we want, went we want. Rule number three: don't question us or correct us. Rule number four: don't disrespect us because I will beat you. And the last rule, the most important rule, never run away because we will find you and let's just say you won't like it from there. Break any of these rules and you will be punished." He explained calmly.

Chandra pulled Amara away. "Stop." "Don't try to rule me, Chandra!" "Then don't do anything against my rules! Or I will shut you up." The last line she just stated served as a tranquilizer to me- it made me freeze- stopping me to eat Amara. Into the thin air, I shouted, and I growled. The nearby wolves responded, including Amara. But Chandra didn't. One thing is for sure, she isn't part of our race, and this place is not werewolves' realm. Just the parallel of my world.

Great. I pushed my laptop aside, deciding it was best to go through the papers first. As I put the pile in front of me, I thoroughly read each one. "The Disciples are interested in creating an all-" Nope, not happening. The Disciples are way too weak for us; we'd get nothing off of it. I threw the aside. "I, Hayden Campbell, leader of The Aces-" Nope, not this one either. The Aces are just too problematic; they'd only get us in more unneeded trouble. I stacked it on top of the other paper.

“Rule 3, don't expect me to give a shit about your personal life. I will treat you well but I will not interfere in your personal life and neither should you interfere in mine” Nodding, he continued. “Rule 4, there is no other person in our arrangement. You shall not see someone for the duration of this contract and I shall not too. Do you have someone?” He suddenly asked. “You're only asking that after I accepted to marry you? No, I don't” I said with a discreet roll of the eyes. “Then rule number 5… there is no room for love” “I think I got that one pretty clearly the first time,” I said with a slight grin which he didn't return.

He just smiled, like he already knew I wouldn’t be able to keep my own rule. “Rule four,” I said, regaining my footing. “Health. Even though we didn’t use protection last night, we need to be more careful moving forward. Especially with the fact that you are a…” I didn't finish my sentence. “I’ll get tested. And I expect you to do the same.” “And the fifth rule is the only rule I will never reconsider. If it’s broken, this thing between us ends immediately.” That sentence caught his attention. “Don’t try to get involved in my personal life. And I won’t get involved in yours. No exceptions. No questions. This thing stays separate from everything else.”

“Classic Mom.” “You’re twenty, Ivy,” she said tightly. “You’re not cute. You’re not interesting. You’re a liability.” “Wow,” I said. “Touching.” “If you want to stay in this house, there will be rules.” “Oh, I can’t wait.” Her eyes sharpened. “Don’t bring boys here. Don’t sneak out. No parties. Dean answered simply. She actually has a point. They really have a better chance of winning if that happens. They will gain the upper hand if they use silver bullets against the fighters in the east. But even though I also agree with what the student said, the decision is still up to Dean especially that any equipment with silver alloy is prohibited.
