I had to go to the bathroom, and by the time I returned, the door was wide open, and whoever had been inside was gone. They must have snuck out while I was away. After my rounds, there was little left for me to do, so I decided to go into the break room and play some games on my phone to pass the time. I was so engrossed in the game that I barely noticed when the door opened. I glanced up, and there she was—Veronica Adams, the nurse. Veronica was attractive, with a figure that turned heads without even trying. Even in her nurse's uniform, there was something bold about her dressing. Roman said to the nurse by the counter who was writing something on a clipboard on the counter. “She’s…she’s pregnant” he added, she didn’t pay attention to him. He greeted Dana politely and tossed Ben over to wipe his back. “Gently” Dana knitted her brows. “It won’t matter … he can’t feel.” The male nurse shrugged flashing a smile. “No… please be gentle.” Dana pursed her lips. “Lady, I have thirty other patients waiting to be looked after.” The male nurse spoke indifferently. “I have only one Ben. I sniff. “I'm Diana, by the way,” The nurse says, “One of Doctor John’s assistants. I'm always here to help.” I give her a dirty look, “No, you're here because a billionaire pays you! Get off your high horse, you're not a respectable nurse! All of this is illegal!” Her eyes widen in shock and disbelief.

I guess she wasn’t wrong with her theory. “What should I do?” I asked the nurse. I couldn’t let Irene keep on crying. “I guess you would have to hold her until she falls asleep. You can sit right over there.” She pointed to the left. There was a chair. “We can handle the rest of the children. Thank you for your efforts Miss Lara.” The nurse said and slightly bowed ahead. At the mention of my name, I remembered Damon was also in this room. My eyes turned to his direction. He was changing the diaper of a baby. He looks so fatherly doing it and it suited him.
