Insane For Ratings: Wife Used As Experiment

Insane For Ratings: Wife Used As Experiment

Third-Person POV "What did you say?" Cole exclaimed, his voice pitching an entire octave. The joyous atmosphere immediately disappeared. The assistant handed his phone to Cole and said, "Look." Joanna was wearing a bitter smile as she sat in front of the camera. Her skin was covered in mottled bruises. She pulled out a bottle of sleeping pills from her bag and held it in front of the camera. The comments egged her on. "End your life if you have the guts. A lunatic like you will only harm yourself and others if you stay alive."

His obsession

His obsession

Lily's POV An alarm that shrieked at 6:00 a.m. like it had a personal vendetta against her peace. A five-minute internal argument about quitting life and becoming a houseplant. A cold shower that attacked her like it had been waiting all night to do exactly that. And finally the ritual. A silent, desperate plea to the universe. Please. Not a bad mood today. Not even a good one. Just… neutral. Neutral is fine. Neutral I can work with.

Kidnapped by Alien

Kidnapped by Alien

Joseph was waving his hand in the chair while the junior and senior scientists in front of him were listening intently. He also pointed to the screen where strange images were rapidly changing. That screen was attached to his brain and what he was thinking was emerging on the screen. Then he realized something strange. Certain rays had returned to his brain, and this only happened in case of extreme danger. He paused for a moment, his attention on Anahita. He wanted to see her through the eyes of imagination.

High In Pursuit

High In Pursuit

He neglects everything and focuses solely on catching the trail of the serial killer. "They claimed that his irises are as red as blood. The white gaps are shrouded in pitch black color. Dark, protruding veins emerged everywhere from his hands. The veins are painfully touting, condensed in his neck up to his face. Blood is streaming out from his pores, gushing on the ground like a puddle of water. He acted like a possessed man. His child and wife are standing on the sideline, trembling at such a sight. Even the spectators are appalled by his hideous appearance." "And, you guys assumed that creature is the one who drives him to the brink of insanity? Isn't it preposterous to assume that?"

My Insufferable Boss

But mostly pathetic. Winston still had a smile on his face but I saw his eyes drop for a second, "Hey no worries at all. I understand. I'm here for you if you need anything" he says. Why is he such a nice guy? Why can't I ever fall for the nice guy? Something is fundamentally screwed up in my brain. I smile, "Thank you"

Hidden Obsession

Hidden Obsession

The apartment hummed with the meticulous energy Evan always carried, a symphony of clinking cutlery, whispered phone calls, and the low, deliberate hum of his thoughts manifesting in plans, lists, and schedules. Every corner of the living room displayed color-coded binders, magazine tear-outs, and mock-up invitations. He moved through the chaos like a predator in his domain, sleek, confident, unshakable. Adrian watched from the couch, a hollow ache nestled deep in his chest.

TRAPPED BY THE MAFIA

TRAPPED BY THE MAFIA

He looks as though he’s having an out of body experience. His whole body stills and his dick softens inside me. Taking advantage of the opportunity, I push myself backward, propping myself up by my elbow, my suspicious and bewildered gaze on him. His remains still, his expression stoic, a certain kind of darkness creeping into his eyes. I gulp, subtly sliding his dick out of me, immediately wrapping my sore body up with the blood stained duvet. “The guy is insane. He probably has a personality disorder because one minute he was all over me and the next he fazed out and then blinked a few times and forgot who I was. He was even asking where he was and shit. He probably took some drugs.”

Under the Hallow Veil (Editingle Halloween Anthology)

Startling crimson against vibrant clarity. Then there was silence. Severed body parts were dragged beneath the darkness of the oak tree before iridescent slits looked upon her with insatiable hunger. A strangled scream echoed, and she realized it was coming from her. Arms flailed wildly as if to turn faster and get away from what she had witnessed, shutting the door with fear that nearly broke the frame. Her mind was shot to hell. Crippling insanity manifested. A mental illness that needed correction. That was the only explanation. This wasn’t real. It wasn’t. It wasn’t.

The Midnight Club Murders

The Midnight Club Murders

Suddenly, he found himself entranced by the moans and he started walking on his feet. Canned laughter, a mock from the TV people. Analytic Isaac could not measure what was happening in this instant—an instant of fear and terror. I just need to get my pills, he dizzily thought out. As he reached the doorway, terror finally fell over Isaac at the sight of a horrifying figure by his bedside table: the bloodied stump of a headless woman, breasts sagged and leaked blood, with an abdomen torn open as her guts dangled like rusty, bloodied chains all over her lower half.

Dear author, this is the best book I read so far , u know why? Coz I could connect with each and every character. it's not that any incident is astronomical and beyond our understanding. it's like this story is weaved from the experiences of ours surrounding. thanks for writing and sharing in this.

I completed this story on other platform earlier and must say it’s worth the coins. A woman was beaten, crushed and punished for no fault of hers. But she stood up, fought and when time came she forgave her culprit. Nice evolution of the character. I m not in favour of violence though.
