Maya's POV People always assume obsession begins loudly they imagine madness appearing overnight and turning ordinary people cruel in a single moment but the truth is uglier because obsession grows quietly. It starts with wanting to be chosen then wanting to matter and then wanting somebody to look at you the way they look at someone else and eventually wanting turns into needing and somewhere between need and desperation you stop recognizing yourself.

I continue. "I don’t know," he responds after a long pause. "I don’t know what the fuck is going on with me lately, but every time I look at you, I want to monopolize you. The thought of you being with another man drives me crazy. You’re on my mind all the damn time, even if I don’t want you there, and when I tell myself I’ll just forget you, I can’t. What the hell would you even call this? Obsession? Infatuation? Would it be like? It’s all new to me."

I said to them. “So you mean, you are going to give up on her?” Mason asked me. “No… I never give up” I said and took a pause before adding, “The problem is… That I am obsessed with her… And when I am obsessed with something…” “You get that thing no matter what” Dylan completed for me.

Angioletto's Pov It is considered a deformity to be fixated on a particular person or object. It is a deformity to be narrow minded. It is a deformity to only find psychological fulfillment from just one person. My therapist had so many words to describe my obsessive tendencies. But right now, all I want is to live with that deformity for the rest of my life. My new obsession. A beauty to behold. From the moment I set eyes on her, from dusk to dawn, every day since I’ve had her under my care, she has been imprinted in my DNA.

An addiction. She was nothing but an addiction. Yet an intense addiction that has made its way in his blood, coursing through his veins and now there was no turning around. He had reached to the dead end of that addiction that despite wanting, he can't give up on that addiction. Reaching a point that he had accepted he was obsessed with her. She raised my chin up when she saw I was about to coward in her presence “ And where is the fun in that, huh? Why do you think I was eager to kidnap your kids___?” I gazed into Deborah's eyes, staring deep in the depth of the demon she had become all because of her obsession for Michael. I never knew obsession was real but with Deborah, I could finally understand why it is treated as a mental disease. I shake my head, to rid myself of those thoughts as I raise my lips about to answer her questions when she stopped me from providing the answers herself

“I… I don’t want you to stop. Not ever.” His hands went to my waist, pulling me close. “Good,” he murmured, pressing his forehead to mine. “Because I’m obsessed with you. Completely. And I will show you exactly what that obsession means tonight.” Back at the penthouse, we didn’t wait. Every kiss, every touch, every whisper became a battle of possession and surrender. Sebastian’s hands memorized me, claimed me, burned into me with the intensity of his obsession. I responded in kind, trembling under his control, craving every moment, every edge of danger and desire.
