Office Obsession Novels & Stories

I imagine her name is Isabelle. Isabelle, it's soft, and it's light. If I observe the elegance of her step, I see the lightness in it, that of someone who has left their worries at the office. A wild thought comes to me. Could Isabelle be unfaithful to her man? A small, nothing but mini infidelity of nothing at all. It would be a nice one but quickly forgotten because her man is waiting for her at home. Would she feel guilty like the regrets that gnaw at me? But basically, if I analyze: why have remorse? What are they here for? It was me the day before. I don't think it was a dream. It was my hands that were playing with this new body. I could not have dreamed of a better moment. Or if so, c

I said to them. “So you mean, you are going to give up on her?” Mason asked me. “No… I never give up” I said and took a pause before adding, “The problem is… That I am obsessed with her… And when I am obsessed with something…” “You get that thing no matter what” Dylan completed for me.

“Why the fidgeting?” He rubs at his jawline. “I have an attention issue and get distracted. A bird that flies by the window, someone coughing, you—especially you. Doesn’t mean I’m not smart. It just takes me a while to take it all in.” He taps one of the pens on his desk. Especially you. “ADD?” I’ve read enough to know a little about it. “Technically, ADHD, but I don’t jive with putting a label on it.”

These past few days have got me reflecting quite a bit. I’m so desparate to find the good Samaritan to thank her, but Jake and his team have turned up very little information. I suppose it was to be expected with no leads to go on. It would be like finding a needle in a haystack. I think about the good Samaritan several times a day. The more I try to remember, and the more I try to recapture that feeling of safety and comfort, the further the memory seems to slip away. It’s starting to become an obsession.

he responded, proceeding to tell them how it all went down. Julian whistled. “Damn. You actually did it. Six months of him being your… what did you call it? Personal companion?” Vegas’s smile turned darker. “Exactly. He belongs to me now. No more running after him. No more hiding behind that girl. He’s going to learn exactly what it means to cross me.” Julian laughed, raising his glass. “To the most obsessive man I know.” “Hope you know what you’re doing with this one,” Remmy added, a not-so-stoked expression on his face.

Or focus my gaze on your bright eyes and forget about the world. My idea to try to forget all this and leave it in the past was to sink even deeper into work. This will cause me a future problem, I'm feeling it, but I can't escape it. It has become a vicious cycle. I think about her, I work more. I see her, I work more. Furthermore, I smell you, I work harder. There is no human being in the world who can handle huge doses of stress in a row and doesn't freak out.

“There would be functions where we would be in attendance to and you would play the part of a doting wife and I , a caring husband. We would both remain faithful to each other during the period of our contract and there would be no talks of children. I am a very busy person so you would most likely have the house to all to yourself as I would be scarce there. I assure you this agreement would be over before you know it “. His voice was tight and void of any emotions. “ Do you understand or do I have to go over everything again… Oh and before I forget , you and your father have been warned. I do not enjoy being fooled and would only let this slide once… Am I clear? “ His expression was harden

“Because you said he ran from Beth and ran straight to you. He was confused, fighting something. He wants you everywhere, but is it you he’s obsessed with, or is it the escape? The forbidden thrill?” Maya added, more cautiously, “Yeah, Reinna. You said he’s possessive. That’s a red flag. Does he love you, or does he just love the control and the amazing sex you give him? Because if he was fighting it so hard, maybe he’s still fighting the idea of falling in love with his step-sister, and the love he confessed is really just the crazy lust.” The words hit me like a physical punch. I felt all the blood drain from my face.

My obsession had become a silent companion, one that followed me everywhere, whispering his name, replaying our non-existent conversations. The digital realm became my playground, where I could observe Felix without being seen. I scrolled through his social media, analysing every post, every like, and every comment. But with each passing day, the line between love and obsession grew thinner. I found myself showing up at places Felix visited, not to confront him, but to catch a glimpse of him from afar. The rush of seeing him, even if only for a moment, was intoxicating, a height that I chased with increasing desperation.
