"It's not easy doing this but I'm glad I'm back on track" the young man told him as he stood behind the sofa. With a sharp bolt from the sofa, the older man turned to face his counterpart before engulfing him in a hug.

Adrian responded, sounding every bit like a devoted fiancé who cared deeply about the woman he was soon going to marry. Seeing the way the two of them embraced one another with warm smiles, the old man smiled at them. "It's nice to see such a young couple so deeply in love. I must say, it's very rare to find this kind of love nowadays. Well, I hope you get better soon. I'll have to leave now. I just wanted to make sure that you were safe," the old man said before saying his goodbyes. The moment he walked out of the office, Evelina quickly pulled her hand away.
