His hearing even went as far as picking the distant howls, probably coming from the wolves who lived in town. My heart clenched as he struggled, but then—finally—a faint whisper escaped. “Sun,” he said, his voice hoarse but clear enough to make me smile. “That’s it!” the therapist praised, her joy infectious. “You’re doing so well, Olly.” I couldn’t help myself; I stepped into the room, grinning like an idiot. “At this rate, you’ll be giving me singing lessons soon.” Olly looked up at me, his eyes wide with surprise, and then—slowly—a shy smile crept onto his face. “Bella,” he whispered, the sound fragile but unmistakably mine.

I used to live here too, when I was little like you." Her eyes went wide. "Really? You’re an orphan too?"

Maybe I scare those dreams away.” Raven laughed over the phone, “Tempting as that sounds, I thought you had work to catch up on?” Oliver sighed, “I do, but I could delegate it, I am the boss.” “You don’t strike me as someone that likes to do that though.” “You already know me so well,” smiled Oliver. “I really sorry for calling you this early, especially if I woke you, I just wanted to hear your voice.”

Oliver cast an odd glance at her, "Aren't fans usually daydreaming about getting smooched by their idols? You're not pretending to be a fan, are you?" She gazed at Oliver with sincerity and replied, "An idol who intends to exploit their fans isn't a respectable idol."

"You cannot choose to give your soul to them. We are so close,, so close. I have found my lifemate. It is only a matter of time for you. You must hold out. I am coming to you." Olivera snarled, throwing her head back to roar with rage. "Imposter. You are not my mother." "Olive! What are you saying? Of course I am your mother. You are ill. I am coming to you with all haste. If those creatures are playing tricks on you…"

My voice cracked despite me wanting to sound stronger and wanting to put as much anger in it as I could. “You didn’t really think it was over, did you?” Dante murmured, his voice rough and a prelude to what was to come.
