Eloise carried Ollie and started walking to the bus stop. Fortunately, the rain had died down a bit, so it wasn’t that hard to walk.
As they entered the bus, Eloise asked about Ollie’s day.
“How was your first day, honey?”
“It was so fun, Mommy!” he exclaimed with bright eyes. “We drew flowers, had snacks, and I also made a new friend. Her name is Annie, and we played a lot.”
