The Assassin

The Assassin

The scent of blood, an owl shifter’s blood, lingering in the air. I race up to him, seeing him crouching on the ground. I shift and come up behind him. He turns looking at me over his shoulder. “What do you make of this?” he asks me. When I can finally see, I’m surprised at what I’m looking at. The owl shifter is there, in his human form lying on the ground, his head separated from his body. “I think we just found Owen the owl,” I say to Avani.

PRETENDER: Alpha's Forbidden Omega

PRETENDER: Alpha's Forbidden Omega

Ortiz faced the owl again, lifted it gently, and whispered in that ancient tongue only the royal house still knew-low, clipped, urgent syllables meant only for the creature's ears: "Fly to Haspan. Spy. Hear. Return fast." The owl's eyes flashed silver. Then- FWSSHHH- it shot out the window like a streak of lightning, gone before anyone could blink. Silence fell. Ortiz turned toward Lisa. "Try again. Look far." Lisa swallowed hard. She closed her eyes, pressing her palms together, breathing as though steadying herself against a storm. Everyone waited. Seconds stretched. Then her eyebrows twitched... her lips parted...

The Mafia Lycan's Obsession

The Mafia Lycan's Obsession

Swirling prisms of glittering opaque colors. Gliding across the sky, weaving in and out of the overhead canopy, a large owl circled the great stone house built into the high cliffs. A second owl, then a third appeared, silently making lazy circles above the branches and the rambling house. A lone wolf, quite large, with a shaggy black coat and glittering eyes, loped out of the trees into the clearing. Out of the darkness, on the balcony of the rock house, a figure gilded forward, looking out into the night. He opened his arms wide in a welcoming gesture.

Fight Dirty

Fight Dirty

“Want to share one?” “I never turn down sweets.” He grabs a plate and two forks and goes onto the screened-in porch. “You seem to like it out here.” “I do.” I flick on the overhead fan, feeling the heat of the day hit us as soon as we step out. “And Tulip does too.” Owen smirks. “I have a really good crazy cat lady joke right now.” “No pussy jokes anymore?” He laughs. “I can always come up with one.” “I’m sure you can come up with one.”

The Alpha's Warlock

The Alpha's Warlock

It was the Armitage pack house, and we were home. There wasn’t anyone around, and it was nearly silent: no howling, shouts, alarms going off, or anything, even though the Armitage pack council had to be chewing their own claws off by now, with no word from Matthew or Ian. The only sound was the squawking and hooting of an unusually annoying owl in the cluster of pines to our left. “Ian,” I said quietly, “this is why you need wards. The owl’s the only one who noticed a powerful sorcerer and a master vampire just materialized inside your territory carrying the unconscious pack leader like a sack of potatoes.”

Amazing story! Well written, well developed long chapters, well editted, well balanced (Story, emotion and sex), well...everything! Well done Author!!! One of the best books I have read on this or other platforms. I also love your smart, sharp and quick witted sense of humor! It was very refreshing!

I'm only 18% into this masterpiece of emotional rollercoasters, but I can say with 100% certainty that the real warlock is the author and their amazing way of crafting and weaving the words like magic. Truly, this is a cut above the rest in quality and I can't get enough of it ...

Mated To The Ice Pack

Mated To The Ice Pack

He lingered like the weight of his coming words could crush the grounds. “When I walked with Amber yesterday,” he started, “something happened in the woods.” The door creaked again. Camden and Cassian slipped inside. It was such a perfect time. Now each of us are here. Jax continued with his voice falling low. “An owl. It dropped dead. Right in front of us, just by our feet.” My chest pulled tight. An owl? “And then?” Camden pressed. Jax swallowed. His eyes darted, but he didn’t look away. “I saw him.”

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

The deformed feet had already marked the bird as a servant of the demon. Before he could decide what to do about this new arrival, a brown streak appeared out of nowhere and smashed into the crow. Black feathers exploded outside the window as the bird let out a piercing squawk. Ralin watched as the sharp talons and pointed beak of a brown and white owl tore the crow apart, then dropped the remains to the ground beyond Ralin’s sight. The owl turned and winked one of its wide round eyes at Ralin. Ralin smiled. “Thanks, Jenna.” He had not really needed any help from the witch—no single bird, demon bred or otherwise—was a match for his magic. But it was nice to know they had allies keeping an ey

My big bad wolf

My big bad wolf

Dawn was approaching when they finally decided to go home, each with a plan in mind to face the challenges of the next day. While Lola and Maya shared their confidences, the owl seemed to watch intently, its large eyes blinking in the darkness of the night. There was something mysterious about the way she kept her gaze fixed on her friends, as if she understood the depth of their words and the strength of their friendship. In a way, her expression seemed like an enigmatic smile, as if she approved of the two young women's determination to face their dilemmas. As Lola and Maya retreated into the house, the owl rose from the roof of the gazebo and, with a soft flapping of wings, flew away, dis

OLIVER

OLIVER

We walked past a lane with houses on either side, the side of Valeras where normal wolven families lived. Somehow, we’d avoided the guards that patrolled the grounds by this time. Dragging the dead weight on my back, we stopped in front of a small house with just one window beside a wooden door. It resembled a small hut, just like most of the houses on this side of Valeras. I lifted my fists to the door and knocked on it. “Are you sure Oliver?” Keyleth reached for my arm, dragging my eyes to hers. My lips parted to speak when a rattle came from behind the door and the handle twisted, revealing a male that looked to be in his late twenties.
