Rejected By One Alpha, But Claimed By Three

Rejected By One Alpha, But Claimed By Three

I said to myself as I turned the pages, “these illustrations are incredible.” As I continued to go through the book I could roughly get what this book was about due to the illustrations. It starts out with a child, a little girl, being thrown to a pack of wolves in order for the adults to be able to get away. The wolves quickly surround the child. The child sitting in the middle, doesn’t cry or scream, instead she's depicted as just watching them with little more in her eyes then resignation to her fate. The next few pages show how the wolves didn’t eat the child, but took her with them.

Kiss in the Shadows

Kiss in the Shadows

He was truly exasperating me and causing a whirlwind of confusion in my heart and mind. What was I supposed to do with this book on how to masturbate? I wasn't sure if it was out of curiosity or if I wanted to prove to myself that I wasn't affected by him. I cautiously opened the book. The illustrations depicted a man holding his genitals and a woman with her fingers covering her intimate area. It wasn't explicit or pornographic, per se, but rather educational, with black ink graphics. However, it evoked a different sensation within me—a warmth that intensified as I continued to observe the pages.

Alpha's Psycho Mate (Book-1 of Fated Series)

Alpha's Psycho Mate (Book-1 of Fated Series)

Glints of curiosity could be seen in Amenia's eyes, probably interested in asking something but thankfully she didn't make any move to voice her questions and nodded curtly to my request as gesturing me to take a seat on the bench beside her. I claimed a seat to the opposite side of Anemia while Alex sat next to me. She moved that book to me which she was reading before. I look at her before focusing on the page opened in the book. It showed a picture of a human and some other creatures with wings attached to their backs like what I had seen in my dream. And a title printed on its top says 'The Guardians of Light and Dark'. I didn't get what her point was by showing this picture to me, so I

Joining His Voyage

Joining His Voyage

I went around, finding books everywhere, until I decided to sit and start to read. "She sent him a quick interesting look. 'In what way?'. She read the book out loud. "You have the advantage of seeing the people around you without having your own emotions color what you see. Observation without prejudice. It might be an interesting way to undertand yourself." She heard Fauve said the next few lines of Reeve Macgee of the story she's reading. "You already read this, haven't you?" I cite the obvious. He just smiled at me and shrugged his shoulders.

she looked at me, panicking as though I gave her a death sentence. “Closing her case will not affect your business in any manner, or my investments. I want you to concentrate on finding the mouse who created a blind-spot in my omniscient sight of the Prime pack.” Nesryn frowned. “Blind-spots in o-omniscient sight? Infernals can’t block your sight and Celestials can’t enter the underworld without losing their celestial wolf spirits. So how is this mouse creating blind-spots in your sight? This is the first time,” Nesryn said thoughtfully.

Updates are really slow. I couldn’t remember story line completely and had to go back and read several chapters to get back up to speed. Please update regularly. It’s a really good story and losing the audience due to delayed updates is a shame.

Like other comments, loved the storyline and characters BUT updates are extremely slow. So slow that I had to go back and reread the last couple of chapters before reading new material. Won’t continue story if next update takes so long.

The Villainess rewrites her fate

The Villainess rewrites her fate

Easy to read past, the first time through, when she hadn't yet known enough to recognize them as anything other than incidental texture. Read again, now, they felt less like texture and more like scaffolding, the visible seams of a story that had been very deliberately built around a shape it never intended to fully reveal. --- She brought her findings to Sophia the following afternoon, the two of them walking slow, deliberate circuits of the garden where conversation was harder to overhear than in any drawing room. "The novel mentions an unnamed observer at the engagement announcement," Chloe said, keeping her voice low. "Watching everything with what the author calls calculating stillness.

The Wife He Never Saw: Carrying His Secret Twins In Silence

The Wife He Never Saw: Carrying His Secret Twins In Silence

I had been aware of it for several evenings and had not examined it directly because examining it felt like it would disturb the particular quality of these evenings, the specific good ordinary thing of the lamp and the other chair and his voice reading about bears and rabbits and small girls afraid of thunder. The evening it shifted was a Wednesday. He was on the fourth book in the sequence, a longer one, about a father and daughter walking through a night forest looking at the stars. The language was simple but had something in it, a quality of attention to small things, the way the illustrations apparently showed the same patch of sky getting darker page by page as they walked further fro

I eye the two remaining books, one remarkably slender, the other easily twice the breadth of either of its predecessors. ‘Only one way to find out.’ I reach for the larger of the two and it takes both hands to lift it from the shelf. The first thing I notice is the detailed tooling of three wolves. The middle wolf sits, head tilted towards the moon, the other two either side of her, standing guard. I don’t know for sure that’s what the scene depicts, but that is what my mind makes of it. There is an uncanny resemblance to Justice, Max and Caleb.

Unlicensed Babysitter

She sounds divine to me. "Look," Emma almost whispers. I open my eyes and find the book before me, an illustration of the scene Emma just read on the page. It's in black and white but I still appreciate what the artist is conveying. The character drawn has their features exaggerated and the dark lines around them shows struggle, the pull of magic, the force that no child should face. "That's intense," I say. "Definitely not a children's book."
