On My Block Cholo Novels & Stories

I looked at it. The unknown number was still there. I had not blocked it yet. I opened the thread. Read his messages again. "How was prom." "I just wanted to know if you were happy." "Because I still do." "I cannot." I typed. "I am happy." Then I blocked the number. I drank my coffee. The sun was coming up. The birds were loud. Chloe stumbled into the kitchen. Her hair was a mess. Her mascara was smudged. "Kill me," she said.

“And Sage. It’s been a while.” I forced myself to stand. “Not long enough.” He chuckled, slow and amused, like he enjoyed my defiance. Mark took a step forward, blocking more of me from Cholo’s view. His fists were clenched at his sides, and I could feel the anger radiating off him. “What the hell are you doing here?” Mark demanded. Cholo sighed, shaking his head. “Relax. I’m not here to fight.” Mark didn’t relax. Neither did I. Cholo seemed to be alone, none of his goons with him but that doesn’t mean I had to let my guard down.

**Chapter 1: Shattered Blood** "You fat, greedy pig! You'll eat us out of this house and home and still bring nothing but shame to this family!" Uncle Harlan’s voice boomed through the dimly lit living room like thunder on a clear night. Fifteen-year-old Chloe Brownish stood rooted to the worn carpet, her hands trembling at her sides. The words landed heavy, each one sinking deeper into her chest. Her uncle towered over her, his face twisted with raw contempt. "Look at the size of you. Your parents have been gone barely two weeks and already the fridge is emptying faster than I can fill it. We can’t afford this. We won’t afford *you*."

I can't wait for her to be a mother to our children. "Woah, my man! Congrats right there! Now I have to look for the grandest gift ever." Cholo just laughed before falling silent again. "I'm going to ask for this car as a gift so take care of that," I joked. "No chance, bro. I'll take this baby home with me." He went inside the car. "I'll just do some tests on this baby. Congrats, man! Your honeymoon's on me." And then he sped away like a child who had his first toy.

This still means I will have to pick up Stetson though. “Look what we have here. Ransom is back and just after the Chaos whore. Well, she wouldn’t be the Chaos whore, without all of Chaos.” Not this bitch. I mentally sigh and roll my eyes, when in reality I’m stoic. “Hey Ransom, were you someone’s bitch?”
