My temper rose, and it was not directed to Hilda or Hadon this time, it was directed to her.
“I said, no, you can’t see Calaheim, not until you defeat me in a fight.”
She produced two curved blades from behind her and readied a fighting stance. How she summoned these weapons was beyond me, but seeing as she was Calaheim’s apprentice, I didn’t need to wonder further.
“With pleasure,” I answered and grinned wide. “Adamar, here, guard this for me.” I tossed him the marble, and he caught it easily. However, he shot me a glare, one that didn’t approve of my decision.
