Vows of Silver and Sin

Vows of Silver and Sin

"She smells of old ink and terror. Tell me, little Scribe, can you see the way we all die just by touching our wine glasses? Or is your gift as limited as your lifespan?" I felt a surge of cold anger. These weren't just mobsters; they were nightmares in silk ties. I reached out and picked up my silver fork, feeling the history of the metal—the hands that had polished it, the mouths it had fed, the secrets whispered over it. "I see enough," I said, my voice projecting with a strength I didn't know I had. I looked Ligeia straight in her iridescent eyes. "I see that this silver was mined from a grave. And I see that the woman sitting across from me is deathly afraid of the dark. Is that why you

The Silver Wolf : Shards Of The Moon

The Silver Wolf : Shards Of The Moon

He was tall—easily 6'5"—with hair so dark it swallowed the light and features so sharp they looked sculpted from granite. The air around him shimmered with suppressed power, the kind that didn't need to be displayed to be understood. As I approached the table with a tray of fresh bacon, keeping my gaze locked on the tablecloth, a sudden, almost physical force slammed into me. It wasn't Kael's power, but something deeper, a jolt that went straight to my core. The bacon grease sizzled, and I nearly dropped the heavy tray. I flinched, my eyes snapping up just for a second, to locate the danger. And I looked right into his eyes. They were a piercing, crystalline silver—the color of the m

The Silver Moon’s Cursed Luna

The Silver Moon’s Cursed Luna

Watching and praying not be involved in these mess. Phil approached Carlo slowly now, then crouched before him. “You should be grateful,” he murmured while Carlo struggled violently beneath the pressure. Phil's narrowed faintly."Because BloodFall Luna survived.” A pause, then his smile vanished completely. “Otherwise… there would be no Silverfang Pack left by sunrise.” Carlo’s breathing became ragged beneath the crushing pressure. His fingers dug violently into the shattered floor as he struggled to lift himself, but the more he resisted, the heavier Phil's aura became.

The Billionaire Alpha's Sin Bin

The Billionaire Alpha's Sin Bin

It wasn't steel; it was too bright, too cold, and its presence felt like a searing, impossible wrongness. I leaned closer, my mind instantly disconnecting from the corporate environment, the Board demands, and the Logan problem. This was different. This was Pack. With meticulous care, I pinched the tiny strand between my thumb and forefinger and extracted it. It was no more than an inch long, brittle, and intricately twisted to resemble a miniature, crude knot, a gift left precisely where my body would rest. Silver. Unmistakably. The corporate noise vanished, replaced by the primal silence of the wolf detecting a fatal threat. Silver was never accidental. It wasn't contamination. It was a ta

After Silver Prison

After Silver Prison

However, soon my stomach roiled violently. I bolted to the bathroom and vomited up everything I’d just eaten. The hollow weakness in my body dragged me back to that moment closest to death. I’d been tortured until I was barely alive. Afraid of answering to Daniel if I died, they called in a healer. She skimmed my test results, her brows knitting into a hard line. “Your silver poisoning has seeped into your bones, and your wolf soul is dormant. You won’t live long. “How long is your sentence? Three years? Perfect. You’ll die not long after leaving Silver Prison. No need to dirty the cell with your corpse.”

The Marked Mate of the Lycan King

The Marked Mate of the Lycan King

There was something in it—tiny, microscopic flakes that caught the light like dust motes in a sunbeam. "What's in it, Rhys?" He stepped closer. His shadow covered me. "A touch of silver. Just enough to be a tonic for a True Luna. Our bodies thrive on it. It’s what separates us from the weak, from the humans." My stomach turned. I knew what silver did to our kind. In small amounts, for the pure-blooded, it was a test of strength. But for anyone else... it was poison. It burned. It tore through the veins like liquid fire.

Claimed By Alpha Draven

Claimed By Alpha Draven

The roar of werewolves and the clashing sounds of blades filled the air. I was just about to shift to my wolf form and fight them when a part of my spine began to hurt a bit. I knew calling my wolf out in this state was a stupid idea, and I did promise Hazel that I'd be okay. So instead, I entered my car and took my gun out. The gun was fully loaded, but I took out all the bullets in it and replaced them with special ones. The silver bullets are made out of actual silver; one shot is enough to end a wolf, and luckily only high-status people have access to these weapons.

DEAR EX, I AM YOUR UNCLE'S MATE

DEAR EX, I AM YOUR UNCLE'S MATE

And if Gideon had created it, then the silver was the key. “Focus on the silver!” I called out, my voice cutting through the chaos. Zane didn’t hesitate, darting forward to test my theory. He grabbed a knife from his belt, the blade glinting faintly in the moonlight, and drove it into one of the pulsing veins on the creature’s arm. The effect was immediate. The creature let out a bone-chilling scream, its body convulsing as the silver seemed to ripple beneath its skin. It staggered, the glow in its eyes dimming for a moment before flaring back to life.

The Stray Moon

The Stray Moon

The sound is pathetic, more animal than human, and the nearest wolves in the front row smirk. The silver is designed to weaken, to strip the wolf out of a body and leave only meat behind. I feel it like a rot, crawling up my arms, sapping everything good and hot and alive from my veins. My fingers tingle, then go numb. I flex them anyway, refusing to give the crowd the spectacle of collapse.

The Son of Red Fang

The Son of Red Fang

“I thought silver was deadly for werewolves.” “A bullet of high purity silver penetrating your heart or with the use of modern medicine, injecting it into a vein, are the quickest ways for our kind to die, yes. But it was discovered about sixty years ago that small doses of high purity or large doses of low purity silver have temporary enhancement features. When injected into the muscle, either one will give you a euphoric high as well as increased strength and stamina with decreased pain perception. It’s very common for prospects in poor shape to engage in using it for that purpose. Unfortunately, those who do use it, often don’t realize the danger they are putting themselves in. The high o

The details can get to be a bit much in the beginning but it’s important. I promise. Great story. Wonderfully built characters. Definitely a much deeper and richer read than I was expecting from this app. LOVE.

It was physically painful to keep reading—but I don't mean that in a negative way. I connected with all of the characters. I loved the book. However, it takes a truly strong mentality to read such traumatic content. I used to consider myself one of those people, but this book shattered my heart.
