The Secretly Rich Man

The Secretly Rich Man

Since they were here as reporters and they needed to write articles once they returned anyway, perhaps listening to an interesting story or two would help them with their writing. With that in mind, the two girls then re-joined the crowd of people who were listening to the Master of the Desert’s tale. The tale itself went by ‘the Legend of Capra Nanny,’ and the bearded man made sure to use his most serious tone while sharing the story.

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.

The Disreputable Love Transaction

The Disreputable Love Transaction

“If I promise not to cry when you’re talking, would you give me the honor of saying something at my wedding? I really want to hear you speak, Blue. And I’m sure the others would be more than happy to listen to your stories.” I enjoy telling stories. Since I loved reading them, I always made stories inside of my head. When Gray and Ash had been young, I often read them the stories I made during the night to help them fall asleep. I don’t think they heard it that much, since I often read it when my mother and father were screaming at each other. And so I nod, and I tell her “Alright.” $$$*$$$*$$$ The woman named Helen laughed loudly.

The Cherished Wife

The Cherished Wife

"Really? And what stories does Mommy tell you?" Brandon tilted his head, thinking. "The Three Bears, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and the Prince and the Frog." He hesitated a little. "Mommy knows lots of stories too, but she only tells me one each night, so she finishes them quickly." Peter grinned. "Is that so? Do you really like listening to stories?" Brandon nodded enthusiastically. "I love it." "Then, how about letting Grandma tell you stories from now on? Sometimes, Mommy gets very tired."

The Alpha's Babysitter

The room was filled with warmth and laughter as they embarked on a day of stories and play. "Hazel, read me a story, please!" Theo's eyes sparkled with excitement as he looked up at his nanny. "Of course, Theo! Let's dive into a magical world together," Hazel replied with a smile, opening the book to the first page. As Nanny Hazel began to read, Theo's imagination soared. He listened intently, his eyes wide with wonder, as the words painted vivid pictures in his mind. The story took them on a journey through enchanted forests, brave knights, and friendly dragons.

Alfred said. “Thank you, dad!!” the juveniles chorused. “The Lord of the Moon’s story will explain the two questions. Do you want to listen to the story?” Alfred said expectantly. He had known the juveniles to be great lovers of stories. “Yes, dad. We want to hear the story,” Ethan said.

The Couple's Playmate

Because suddenly I woke to. "This is your Captain Amellia speaking, we're approaching the first island we'll be visiting. We'll be there in about 30 minutes. Hope you've enjoyed the ride so far." We both woke to it being said over the speaker. I look into my Dahlia's big eyes and slime. I could tell she still wasn't fully awake. "Baby, I'll go find the Captain and see where I can make us some coffee." I sat soft and quietly. I feel her grip tighten. She clings to me hard.

I sighed "I have a story to tell you." "You’re always telling me the same story." He whispered a bit audible "Not this time I won’t, it’s very interesting, I’m sure you will love it," I said while grabbing the storybook kept on the table. "This looks interesting." I opened to the first page "Once upon a time, there lived three children, Kyle, Lucas, and Charles. They are best friends, they always spend time together until…." "It’s boring." "Okay, I will narrate another story." I grabbed the other storybook and began narrating it
