He scooped up a spoonful of soup, blew on it gently to cool it down, and proffered it directly to her. Alma was stunned, her emerald eyes widening as she stared at him. Catching her bewildered gaze, he cleared his throat and scooped an even fuller spoonful, as if to "shut her up," urging:

Suddenly, a loud voice shouted out from the middle of the amused crowd, "Wait, a spoon?!" "Yes, a spoon!" Lucy yelled back, tossing her head back as she scoffed in absolute contempt. "I mean, what else do you really expect from a pathetic, worthless loser like her? Honestly, I don't even want to mention the disgusting part where she told me she usually stuffs raw hotdogs inside her private parts to get them wet before she takes them to the kitchen and fries them for breakfast!"

William raised his head, looking taken aback by the action. "I want to know if the taste is good or not sir?" asked Juliana gently, giving the spoon to William. William looked at his hands still full of soapsuds from washing the dishes and hesitated for a moment. However, he didn't want to disappoint Juliana, William finally accepted the soup spoon from Juliana carefully, trying not to get the spoon dirty. Carefully, he tasted the soup in the spoon fed by Juliana, feeling the perfect combination of meat, potato, and seasoning flavors.

His attempt to cool the soup was awkward. Spoonful by spoonful, he fed her half a bowl. Penny, seeing the small, exquisite dishes beside her, furrowed her brows. "Can I have some vegetables?" Caleb then realized he had only been feeding her soup and not the other dishes. He was slightly embarrassed, but it came out as anger. "Why don’t you just eat until you burst?" Despite his harsh words, he carefully fed her the vegetables. Penny ate it all, feeling somewhat satisfied.

"Not bad." Shane beamed. "And there’s a soup too. It’s full of nutrients but not too heavy. Here, try a spoonful." He gently blew on a spoonful of the soup before offering it to her.

"That's an interesting size." She waved the tiny utensil. "It's my ice-cream-eating spoon. I try to avoid using food as an emotional crutch, but sometimes ice cream is the only solution. I use this spoon because it takes longer to eat and I have a better chance of getting disgusted with myself and stopping before finishing the pint. A trick for keeping off the weight. I have a thousand of them." "This situation required ice cream?" She licked the spoon. He did his best to ignore the flick of her tongue and the sigh that followed, along with the rush of unwelcome heat in his body.
