You’re shamelessly taking her side, and your bias has clouded your judgment.” Chris didn’t bother responding to her accusation. Instead, he swept his gaze across the faces of everyone present and declared in a domineering tone, “From today onward, Alexander is the Luna of this pack. Everyone will submit to her and remain loyal to her. Anyone who defies her or dares to mock her authority will face the death penalty.”

ALPHA DAMON. “What are you talking about?” Alpha Logan asks me. “After our last meeting, after we kicked Alpha Killian out of the council, he went back to moon shadow pack to complete what he started, he mined Obsidian. Now I sent some of my men down there to destroy his enterprise but he was still able to mine some before we got there, whether it's a huge amount or a smaller amount, I have no idea but Alpha Langley has informed me that Alpha Killian offered that Obsidian to the rogue king. Now, the rogue king might be dead but the Obsidian is no where to be found. Someone like Santos. The thing about animals is, if you don't pay them enough attention they will turn on you. Kronos the clutch leader for a local group of vampires was a prime example of that and Santos observed his own people deferring to him, and hanging off of every word as Kronos openly threw shade on Lenoras supposed pure blood parentage. 'What's wrong? What is it?' I ask. 'The Dark Moon pack is just that... 'Dark,' their Alpha is truly twisted and evil. He is the reason why my parents were killed!' Maximus snarls.

“Wait… that Rogue Pack? The one that’s invaded territory after territory over the past years? The one with the mysterious Alpha no one has ever seen?” Derek’s smirk deepened. “Nothing mysterious about it anymore.” He walked past the others and came to stand beside me. Only then did I realize the full weight of everything that had just happened. The truth crashed over me like a tidal wave. Derek’s voice rang out like thunder across the silent crowd. “Kelvin.
