Abnormals: Rise of Kronos

Abnormals: Rise of Kronos

Kronos had only experienced brief glimpses of the outside world when he was away on work assignments for his people, the pride and fierce descendants of the dragons that had once called Ocrad home, the Sintar Dragon Tribe. Kronos looked at the clouds lazily passing by, wishing he could be like them and leave. But were he to attempt to do so, he would be hunted down and killed by his own people, if Ocrad’s ruling Dynasty, the Ishtar didn’t enslave him first. He yawned, in no hurry to report for his duties for the day. He was a lowly village guard after all. The most exciting thing he could expect would be breaking up a drunken brawl or maybe have to participate in a skirmish. He yawned once m

Lucifer's Redemption

Lucifer's Redemption

I was the God of the Sea, the one who controlled the mighty waves and the creatures within, yet I could not face my brothers and sisters in such a matter. “Kronos,” Lucifer whispered, explaining that their message needed to be sent to Ares within the next hour. To find out if Kronos was still in Tartarus. My heart clenched in my chest. Our sperm donor was alive and now they fear he had escaped from his prison.

Great story, I’m a fan of mythology and this novel has an unique and interesting way of combining folk tales, pagan and Christian beliefs. I loved the story and the outlines of every character and it’s way of redemption/salvation.

Moon Touched

Moon Touched

Cronos smiled back and whispered, "See, he is not even scared of whatever has him. That means he can take care of the threat himself when he is ready." Cronos thought the woman had to have more faith in Leo. He was powerful and would become the most powerful warlock in his own right when he was grown. Not to mention, he was also another demigod. That aura that surrounded the boy called to others like Katia's and Selene's did. He just did not understand why. What was special about these children? Turning his attention back to the battle of words between his mother and father. He caught the last part of the conversation his mother and wife were having with each other. His mother admitted she

Th Last Lycon

Th Last Lycon

“ Let me explain. Before Luna became the moon goddess , she and Dalia were the Demi god daughters of an exiled she-wolf named Verna and the god of time , Chronos, “ “ Chronos is real too ? , “ “ Indeed , Young Lycon, “ Vixen confirmed. “ But like all of the ancient gods, Chronos grew bored of dealing with mortal affairs and left this realm shortly after Verna died of old age. Leaving the twins to deal with this domain among themselves, “ “ What do you mean domain ? , “ “ Must I explain everything ? , “ Vixen complained. “ Every earthly domain must be maintained by a deity in order to continue to exist. Otherwise, the land of that domain will be erased from existence, “

You Must Love Me, My Little Cupcake

You Must Love Me, My Little Cupcake

I started to say, remembering exactly how it was in my notebook. "They were the sons of Kronos, who was the Titan god of time and the ages, especially time where regarded as destructive and all-devouring. He ruled the cosmos during the so-called Golden Age of the Greeks, after castrating and deposing his father Ouranos into the sky. Later he received a prophecy from the Oracle of Delphi that his own son would be the conqueror of him. In fear of a prophecy that he would in turn be overthrown by his own son, Kronos swallowed each of his children as soon as they were born."

well, as far as the eye can see. And the people inside those cells? Yeah. It’s a rogue’s gallery of ancient horror stories. There’s Cronos—in pieces. Literally. Zeus diced him up like a holiday ham when he overthrew him. The dude’s still alive, just forever in fragments. There’s Tantalus, stuck in a pool of water with a single piece of fruit hanging above him. Every time he reaches up, the fruit rises. Every time he bends down, the water recedes. That’s what he gets for baking his son into a pie and serving him to the gods.

Balance of Light and Shadow

Balance of Light and Shadow

These are the Sirens. There were many battles for power over time and even though the child of light always won, war was always started from the shadows. Cronus killed his father out of jealousy. His own son, Zeus, killed him out of fear for his siblings. Even today if we look at the rouges. They are being driven by lust for power. The shadows always try to increase their reach but the light always shines.

The Palace of the Twilight Pack

The Palace of the Twilight Pack

Besides dispensing justice—he had a strong connection with his daughter Dike (Justice)—Zeus was the protector of cities, the home, property, strangers, guests, and supplicants. According to a Cretan myth that was later adopted by the Greeks, Cronus, king of the Titans, upon learning that one of his children was fated to dethrone him, swallowed his children as soon as they were born. But Rhea, his wife, saved the infant Zeus by substituting a stone wrapped in swaddling clothes for Cronus to swallow and hiding Zeus in a cave on Crete. There he was nursed by the nymph (or female goat) Amalthaea and guarded by the Curetes (young warriors), who clashed their weapons to disguise the baby’s cries.
