Alpha Bambam “Don’t tell me you finally decided to choose a mate,” I snapped at my son, Lucian. He had proved so stubborn over the years, knowing fully well that he couldn’t take over from me unless he found his mate and marked her according to tradition. I was worried at first that he hadn’t found her yet, but then he proved me wrong when he started sleeping with every woman in sight. I associated his silly attitude with the loss of his mum and the ache her absence brought. But when he finally told me he had found his mate, I was thrilled, finally, he was going to get over his reckless lifestyle.

I lifted my glass, taking a small sip of water, my expression unreadable. "It has crossed my mind. After all, you are his father. You are supposed to protect him, support him... not take the things he discards." He laughed, a low, rough sound. "Protect him? Support him? Adrian is a disappointment. A weak, sentimental boy who thinks love is the most important thing in the world. He thinks money grows on trees, that power is given, not taken. He loves that girl, Elara... and she loves his name and his money. She doesn't love him. Just like you didn't love him either."

"When Callum first came back, I resisted him," Dad confessed through tears. "I thought he was going to take away everything that belonged to Ryland. And he had a wild personality. He talked back all the time. I was afraid he wouldn't accept Ryland, that he'd ultimately do something to hurt him. "So, when I heard about that modification organization that could make children obedient, I… I lost my mind and sent him there." "You shouldn't have, you idiot!" Mom was trembling with anger, her entire body shaking. She raised her hand, wanting to slap him, but the sight of his miserable state—tears and snot running down his face—made her stop.

The two Vane men were locked in a primal, lethal struggle, a father and son fighting for the soul of an empire that was currently drowning in its own secrets. "She’s not a lock, Dad, she’s the only reason I’m still human!" Silas shouted, his teeth gritted as he fought against the hydraulic strength of the suit, his eyes fixed on his father’s scarred face with a defiant, unyielding fire. "The board is dead, the Archive is failing, and the only debt left to pay is the one you owe to the son you left behind to rot in a gilded cage!"

I just entered a taxi real quick. Memories flooded me as I sat in the car. All the moments spent with Jeremy.Jeremy was tall with dark brown hair, a sharp jawline with a hint of stubble. His hazel-green eyes were my favorite features and his broad shoulders with bulky muscles. He was his father’s only son in charge of the multi billion dollar business across the majority of the states.

Bash replied and pushed Cassandra to the side, giving him space to close his door. Walking away, he turned his head and said, "are you coming, James?" James screwed his lips but followed him. "What is your relationship with Mr. Storm?" he asked curiously. Bash stopped and faced him with a smirk telling, "it's a father and son thing, you won't understand unless you are a father."

Just focus on your part." "I sometimes forget who the founder of Mountain is," Leonel joked, receiving laughter from his father. "How's it going over there?" "Pretty good. Beverly Hills and New York City, what's the difference?" Leonel walked towards the window of his rented apartment. The night sky in Beverly Hills was bright, with stars scattered across it as usual. The bond between father and son had grown closer day by day, especially since the incident with Josh Corp and the many rumors that circulated back
