That must be a good one, Elinor supposed. She could not remember how long since she last read a book. She missed getting lost in one.
“I’m taking a walk outside,” she announced, walking past Bonnie to leave her friend to have time to read.
Her hands were behind her, her face welcomed the morning heat. It is not scorching hot, it is warm, the kind of warm when you held a cup of coffee that was made minutes ago. It is tolerable.
