Rescued By The Forty-Five Years Old Zillionaire.

I looked away because I couldn't help but cry as I listened to the beginning of Lukas' presentation. "I'm a scoundrel who only wastes money. I didn't have anything to eat sanely other than the leftovers of rich people who eat at fast food restaurants. Ever since I came into this world, I have never had a family. I don't know how I survived. Until Miss Ester saw me and invited me to join her here at the orphanage. At first, I didn't want to, but I thought that maybe this was the beginning to achieve my dream of having a family. I hope a couple is interested in adopting me. This is my dream.”

The Orphaned Queen

The Orphaned Queen

He says as he sits on the edge of the bed and places his hand over mine, making me look up at him. "Are Jess and Orian okay?" I say, barely above a whisper, as my heart starts to beat erratically. "They are fine. It's about the orphanage. They found the orphanage up in flames when they arrived on the pack's territory." He says, and my heart feels like it stopped beating. "The kids all got out safely, but there is no sign of the orphanage mother." "She tried to kill them!" I whisper as I feel Dosha starts pacing in my mind.

Hello there, I can't say whether or not this is a good story or not because I can't get past all the grammatical and punctuation errors. If I have to reread a sentence to clarify what is trying to be said constantly, it's not well written! That being said, author, I hope you do a major edit on this!

Bride of the Billionaire Beast

Bride of the Billionaire Beast

If there was one thing Maxine Johnson had in abundance, it was the desire to help others. In the sea of lies she swam in to keep her cover story straight with Liam, there were still plenty of truths—and the fact that she'd grown up in an orphanage was one of them. Unfortunately, for people raised in orphanages, life usually went one of two ways: detachment or responsibility. Maxine had chosen the latter. Growing up without parents was tough, but she'd had good people around her to help her stay on track. That was why giving back felt like the right thing to do.

Twice Upon A Star

Twice Upon A Star

I smiled a little at the memory. “The orphanage she…the orphanage we were dropped off at was privately owned so it wasn't too bad, but then the government took over. They couldn't keep on all the professionally trained staff so they got replaced with people the government could afford. Then life became hell.” I rested my head on his chest and closed my eyes.

Abby is so fast and sharp-witted, I love her already! But why is each chapter taking me by utmost surprise? Like I never see the next scene coming, it just feels like a movie with a fast pace… A testament to the fact that the author knows her onions. Kudos!

Lady of House Alba

Lady of House Alba

Her grandpa got sick too, and her grandma followed him not much later, leaving her alone in the world. The neighbors kept her for a week, but they also struggled to make ends meet with five children of their own, and so she was sent to the main town. The orphanage should be able to take care of children like Laila who had no blood relatives alive. “We are working at full capacity now. There’s no space for another one.” The people from the orphanage had not looked at her twice before closing the doors on her face with those cold words. There was goodness in this world. It just happened that the bad people outnumbered the good people, as she learned after she was forced to live on the streets,

Never Say Goodbye

Never Say Goodbye

I'd G****e searched the orphanage to see if it was still in existence and I was surprised by everything I'd read. It is now the best non governmental organization in the country due to donations received from Emerson Cruz Group. It caters to the needs of the homeless, orphans and single pregnant women who don't have money to take care of themselves. "I do know this place." The man grins at me. "I grew up there." "Really?" I stare at him in surprise. I try to recollect if I'd ever seen his face at the orphanage but I come up short. "That's um... nice."

A Second Chance at Romance

Heather exclaimed, her eyes turning red. As she placed a hand on Rory's shoulder, she continued in a sorrowful manner, "A lot of the orphans from the orphanage were abandoned by their parents because they were crippled or they were diagnosed with congenital diseases. They might have been abandoned by their parents, yet you have been more than willing to bring them hope, Ms. Emerson …" She paused for a while as she choked.

Wife's Vanishing Act

Wife's Vanishing Act

I closed my eyes briefly, then lifted the microphone. "Before I answer any questions," I said, "there's something I'd like to share. "I don't know if any of you have ever experienced this… Fighting stray dogs for food out of hunger. Sleeping on frozen pavement in torn summer clothes during the dead of winter. Surviving in an orphanage on a slice of bread a day, ignored and mistreated. "Yes, that was my childhood. After being separated from my parents, I wandered the streets until I was finally taken in by an orphanage. From then on, I told myself that if I wanted a future, I had to study, work hard, and rise above.
