World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

Kristen Leeevelyn evans
“It will be much like it was at the World’s Fair opening, Evelyn. Simply follow my lead. Can you do that?” Evelyn’s pulse kicked up a notch. Their trip to the World’s Fair had been like visiting an alternate existence. It went beyond simply politely 'familiar'. That had been an imaginary World of Tomorrow where the natural hierarchy and boundaries of wealth and social status had been erased, like the idealized Democracity or the egalitarian Futurama. Where people attracted to one another were free to explore that gift in each other's company without question.

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

A Deal with Desire

A Deal with Desire

Chapter 53: Wardens of the Dawn The world beyond the ruined city was bathed in an eerie glow. The once vibrant blue sky was now marred by countless purple orbs, each a pulsating reminder of the encroaching darkness. Liam and Xal'dar stood side by side, their bodies humming with the residual energy of their transformation. They were no longer just men; they were wardens, guardians of a world on the brink. The Guardian, a colossal figure shrouded in mist, turned towards them. "Your journey has just begun," its voice rumbled. "The corruption spreads like wildfire. You must find a way to cleanse the world of its influence."

he said. “They already have,” the stranger replied. “The world always feels the first knock before it sees the door open.” Dax exhaled slowly, trying to stay calm. “Then tell us what exactly we’re dealing with.” The figure pulsed in hesitation, as if trying to decide on how much to say. “Somewhere far beyond the sealed ridge,” it finally said, “lays different realms far older than yours. These realms are places where beings that do not live by the same laws exist. The Arbiter was the last of the many watchers who were assigned to keep those realms separate from yours.”

The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

Every creature in the Exile Realm absorbed nutrients from the small world, just as they did in the outer world. Adrian aimed to disrupt the outer world, emptying it to enrich his small world. This was to be his mission for the coming years. Eloise, on the other hand, coordinated and intervened on matters appropriately within the small world. Adrian handed over the authority of the Exile Realm to her, including decisions regarding law fragments. Eloise could sense the power of laws here, making it easier for her to break through to level nine.

Divorced and Dominant: Now You Cry?

Ashton understood well that Callum was using Wanda as bait to lure him into a deadly trap. Under the Otherworldly Pact, those in the otherworldly realm were forbidden from attacking lower-ranked experts without justification. Otherwise, they would face collective execution. Those rules were starting to fall apart, though.

Academy of The Damned: Bride Of The Abyss

“What are they sucking?” “Human blood,” she said, not skipping a beat. She laughed as she saw my face. “There are humans that um, we work with to get blood for them.” Chills ran down my spine. “All of these happened on Earth?” “Yes, in the overworld,” she replied. “We have here, the other world, the overworld and well, the heavens.” “So, what should I expect exactly? How do classes go?” “I don't know,” Alstra shrugged. “But don't worry we'll figure it out together.”

Legacy: The Forgotten World

Legacy: The Forgotten World

“We don’t have a lot of rulers, we have just one and that is me, you don’t need to appeal to anybody else for the army. That was our bargain and I will deliver after some new terms and you are going to have a meal with my family today, you need to see how Northerners behave.” I cringed, I forgot that other empires were not like Dar who had five rulers and five major sectors and my best friend and honorary older brother, Orel was the ruler of one of those sectors while his wife, Themis was the Prophesy seer, a strange girl with an equal strange power and temper towards me. Orel was smitten by her so by default, I have to like her. “So I will have dinner with your family this evening.” I nodde

Bonded with my ex

All Master Damien did with his life was to read Cursed Techniques and release sarcasm on innocent students like him. Eitri adjusted the arrow and drew the arrow even harder . "So you've never been in love?", he asked her. "She readjusted the arrow again. "Once. But he got his head off in front of me". "Oh I'm sorry", Joe said. "Sorry? Don't be.
