Otherworldly Evil Monarch Novels & Stories

They tighten, and something pulls itself forward. A figure steps through. Darkness coils around him, thick and alive, not clinging but obeying. His form is barely solid. More condensed shadow than flesh, shaped vaguely into a man. His eyes are pits of polished onyx. No light reflects from them. Nothing in them resembles anything mortal. A whisper seems to rise from the torn air behind him. “Your goddess is finished. She has ruled too long over a world that does not want her. It is time for change. Monvar has risen.”

“Next you’ll say you’re communing with the spirits of sweaty warriors past.” I placed a dramatic hand over my heart. “You mock me, but I’m manifesting. One day, I’ll live in a castle with silken sheets and gold floors that clean themselves. There’ll be no mopping. Just gowns. And my prince charming will bring me breakfast in bed.” “Selene,” Liora deadpanned, “you’re an omega in Moonbane Pack, not a Disney princess.” “Yet,” I said, wagging my mop handle at her. “Y-e-t.”

One of the elders, James, adjusted his robe as he stood up, “Alpha, about the banquet that's coming up tomorrow, we heard you've invited the Lycan king. Don't you think that's dangerous?” Kaiden raised his brows, “What do you mean?” James swallowed and said, “Alpha, you must have heard some rumors about the Lycan king, Lord Duncan. People say he's extremely dangerous, and he has the looks of a demon. They say he kills in seconds, and he's extremely skilled while fighting. His name alone instills fear in the heart of people. Do you want to invite such kind of a person to the banquet? What if everyone gets frightened to death!” his voice was laced with fear as he stared at Kaiden.

He stood up as he set his arm apart, lifting his head up like some powers were sneaking right into him. "And getting ordained, I need you by my side. I understand, sooner my wishes we run out but then, there is a wish I would love you to grant. I must be the most powerful king, the most dreaded king the underworld has ever had. "But my Lord…" I tried speaking again and he has interrupted me again. He was now drowning in his own illusion, the power he felt in his heart made his mind grow extremely dark and he desired more now. Now I understand, evil never cease, rather it spreads like wildfire. It consumes everything consumable and even the things feared not to be consumable. It was a plague

“Ma'am, have you ever thought about having two monarchs in the same space? What do you think will happen?” Two monarchs... The expression on the Governess' face solidified. “Do you know what are you saying right now? How could it be possible? Only one monarch can rule within a certain space, and now there's Dior Lee, there will be no second monarch or anything.” Why would there be a second monarch? Once a monarch emerged, the lower-level undeads will instantly swear loyalty to them and will never follow another leader again. Even the higher ones will bow to the monarch. That's why there can't be two monarch, unless Dior Lee is dead.

Ethan frowned. “And this Overlord just… woke up tonight?” Lucian finally spoke. “Yes.” His tone was far more serious than usual. “And that’s very bad news.” Raven crossed her arms. “Explain.” Lucian exhaled slowly. “The Overlord is older than the Alpha Kings.” Ethan blinked. “Older?” Lucian nodded. “He is the ruler of the creatures from the other realm.” Hayes added quietly, “The first king of monsters.” Ethan stared at them.

"But I don’t want to see this happening again. Got it?" Liana felt as if she'd been struck by lightning. Her whole body trembled, and every hair on her skin stood on end. She suddenly remembered who this man was—the Dark Monarch, a tyrant who had crawled out of a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood. He had once wiped out entire towns to deal with foreign threats, causing heads of state to protest and label him a scourge. Liana stammered, "I-I was just playing around. I didn’t mean anything by it. Please don’t be angry..."

Then came the screaming. Clawed hands, pale and rotting, broke free from the soil. Bodies grotesque and inhuman began to crawl out of the abyss. Not demons. Not vampires. Not anything I’d ever seen before. These things were older. Wrong. Their very presence made the air turn sour and thick with decay. The Void Monarch… he stepped back. For the first time, real fear crossed his face. “No,” he hissed. “They were supposed to sleep forever.” “What are they?” I breathed, the dagger trembling in my grip again, its edge now glowing silver-hot in my hands.

Now, the woman would be one among the many skeletons sprawled at the bottom of the throne’s stairs. “The twilight is near. The sun and moon will be in my hands. With these two, the whole world will bow down to the one and only Dread.” Those were the words with the assurance of victory. This evil incarnate stared at an almost perfect image from the bubbling puddle of blood, the princess hugging back the family that was never hers, the princess hugging the new life that wasn’t meant for her. “Enjoy while it lasts, Earthal Princess.”

“Once upon a time, a very long time ago, there lived vampires, witches, werewolves, and other magical creatures such as elves and fairies in perfect harmony. While vibrating at a level that kept us in a dimension above this one, our world resembled this one greatly. It was more colorful, lush, and vibrant, but laid out pretty much the same. We had similar wildlife, but no humans. This is the only plane of existence where mere humans can be found. “Our world had one superior God-like king. That was King Landon. Then, there were lesser queens who oversaw the kingdoms of wolves, vampires, witches, etcetera. One day an argument over territory broke out between the vampire and the werewolf queen
