The moment Axel’s fingers touched the leather binding, an image flashed in Axel’s mind, and he could see himself holding that book and reading it. I flicked through the pages and put it back on the shelf, a little too intense for some early morning reading. I picked up another one and read the cover, ‘The Garden of Eden’ by Ernest Hemingway. Not what I expected from a teenage werewolf soon-to-be-Alpha. I put it back and my eyes fell on a really older looking book. I pulled it out and it was big and very heavy. It looked

Austin walked towards the desk with the book in his hands. “The mega-ancient book," he said and dropped it on the desk. I stared at the long-aged book with thorn edges and thorn backs. I watched Austin as he opened the book, flipping through the pages that stuck together. He tried to separate one page from another, each page revealing the ancient diagrams of the extinct wolves. “Why do you need them, Austin?. All wolves there are extinct and long gone.” I queried.

I straightened awkwardly, suddenly aware of Lauren, who was several feet away looking like she had witnessed her own funeral. “I….” I cleared my throat. “I came for the books about omegas.” Osiris repeated with a frown. “Books?” The libertarian told me, There are some books about omega bonds in the east wing’s library.” “Oh!” Osiris nodded. Then, without another word, he lifted the tote bag hanging from his wrist. “Are you talking about these books, Kate?” I grabbed the bag and nearly gasped while checking the books inside it. ‘Fated Bonds and Omega Instincts.’
