A cold breeze slid between the alley walls, whispering along the back of her neck. Adrian stiffened. “Don’t move.” Emily froze. He turned his head just slightly, listening. Feeling. Reading the air the way only something not-quite-human could. “That wasn’t Jason,” Adrian murmured. “Or Lilith.” “Then who—” “A scout,” he said. “One of theirs.” Emily’s heart plummeted. “They’re already here?” “They’re close,” Adrian said. “Too close.” He grabbed her hand. “We have to go. Now.”

Seeing this, I leave. While walking through the dark hallways, I make my way back to my command center. Walking up the stairs, I stop and stand at the top where I can see all the monitors as they record everything happening in the city. As I check the monitors, I see the ones I have installed in the OutPost. “Strange,” I think, seeing the Outcasts all standing in a circle. They seem to be discussing something. “What’s going on?” I bring up my wrist and press a button on my remote controller. Activating the audio on my spy cameras, I listen in on the OutCasts.

“You’ll serve as a maid in your new pack. At least you won’t starve there.” And with that, he signaled the driver to leave. As the carriage rolled away, I cried silently, staring back at the home I’d never see again. “Where are we going?” I asked the driver after hours of silence. “To Wolvehowl Pack,” he replied softly. My heart sank. I’d heard stories about Wolvehowl and its Alpha—a cruel, merciless man who ruled with an iron fist. I was being delivered straight to a monster. When we finally arrived, the driver tapped my shoulder gently. “Miss, we’re here,” he said.

“What if by the time I’m right for her, she doesn’t think so? What if my child already calls another person ‘father’ before me?” “No,” he sighed. “Thoughts like that are only going to derail whatever progress you’re trying to make. Give yourself time, Alpha. Trust that I will find her when you’re ready.” “Get out,” I ordered. “Do not make me say it again, Soren.” “I still have a report to make, Alpha,” he said. “I have traced the Outlanders outside the border, and it appears they have recently terrorized a Pack again. The Pack is in a different region from ours, so getting information is quite difficult, but I’m making progress on that front.”

Peniel assured and Melissa smiled weakly. "Sure, thank you so much, peniel. " She breathed and Peniel exited the room, giving the lovers privacy. Meanwhile, at the other side of the territory, the same territory that Logan and Melissa were becoming intimate; there was total chaos. The rouges that formed the territory were beginning to go haywire. After the attack, the unaware attack from the crimson pack their hadd been many divisions. A lot of rouge wolves had stolen out of the pack and gone into other packs to rape girls, steak commiting all kinds of atrocities but the bad part was neither petal nor Logan knew what was going on.

The sun wasn't scorching hot at it usually does, today it was quite windy and this is one of the best weather Melissa loves to explore in the jungle. Soon we got to the outlands, and it was silent. There was a time that the outlands had packless wolves living on them and trading there. They were not rogues. They were wolves that had never had an alpha before, they answered to the Lycan King directly, but now they were no longer there. I learned most were killed, and some ran to packs for refuge. We sped through the land, but unfortunately, we weren't fast enough because a giant rogue bear slammed into the side of the Jeep, sending our vehicle tumbling sideways.
