Master Orion stepped closer, his eyes widening with recognition. “The First Script.” Selene looked at him in confusion. “What does it say?” The old scholar struggled to steady his breathing as he translated the glowing words. “It says…” He paused, hardly believing what he was reading. “‘When the Keeper of Death stands beside the King of Night, the forgotten blade shall awaken once more.’” Every noble stared at Lucien’s sword in stunned disbelief. Prince Caelan’s expression darkened. “Another prophecy,” he muttered. “No,” Master Orion replied, unable to hide the awe in his voice. “This is older than prophecy. This inscription was carved before the Night Empire existed.”

He was an emperor from an ancient era and had been dead for more than a millennia. Somehow, he had accumulated an intense grudge over the past millennia and had turned into an undead - the 1000 year old Corpse King.
