So I close the pages I'd opened and go to look at the index page, runningy gaze over the words showing the chapter titles and content line by line. Then finally my eyes land on a chapter title which reads 'COUNTER POISEN'. Balancing the book in my left arm, I use my right index finger to trace the page of the title, seeing that it's at Page 284.

This prompted me to open the second page; it was practically empty, just like the first. I continued opening until the fifth page because I was counting the number of pages as I flipped

"It's what little I can give you... for now." She commented as she handed me the papers she was holding. I looked down at it and the first thing I saw was the page numbers on the bottom of the pages. I let out a gasp when I realized that they were the missing ages from the war book. Lady Waina turned around to leave again but I stopped her.

The book had an entire thirty-page chapter on soul resurrection but not soul fetching. Slightly annoyed, Levy started to look through the books again and this time much more carefully as she stared at each page until she was sure that she wasn’t missing anything finally she found what exactly was wrong at the end of the third book. “ Someone tore pages from this book,” murmured Levy as she ran her fingers through the rough yet very clean edge of the torn page. Whoever tore the pages of the book, did it very carefully… in fact, they did it so cleanly that Levy would’ve never found what was wrong with the book unless she carefully skimmed through each page.

The words are readable even though the author has written this in a hurry. What does he mean? I flipped the next page and read the last line, "The girl will die if she gives birth to his child. And if she dies he will hunt the whole city." Who is the girl and who is he. It's CONFUSING!! I wanted to throw the book in the dustbin but something inside me pushed to read further. I relaxed in my seat and flipped the first page. But it seems not only the first page is missing, but there are also up to 30 pages are missing. The book totally has 60 pages, each has 12 to 15 lines.

"Just the first page" I answered but he seemed so shocked by my answer. "First page?" He asked like I just did the most imposable thing in the world. "Yeah, this one." I flipped the book to the first page but it became blank suddenly. I just saw it a while ago! How did it happen? I checked all of the pages thinking that it must be in somewhere

I looked at that page and just like the other pages, there seemed to be nothing strange written there. I stared intently at the page and read some sentences on it.
