Pages In A Novel Novels & Stories

He says as he starts to check for a book "Well, I’m pretty sure that even if I find the so-called right book I won’t like it because I already hate reading." "Well I don’t know about that but I assure you if you read this book, you are gonna fall in love with novels." He hands me a book. "It’s one of my favorites." I collect the book from him and I flip to the last page. My eyes widen in shock to see it has 376 pages. "376 pages." I say questionably "I can’t read all that."

(Jette came near the phone and answered the call) “Hello, Ma’am, how may I help you?” asked Jette. “Please find the first rule in the middle of the book,” said the woman on the other line. “Hello, what do you mean?” asked Jette. (Busy phone sound starts) *** At home, when she arrived, she counted all the pages, the book contains 500 pages. She divided it by two, she carefully turns every page. When she reaches page 250, she found a little envelope, and she opened it, Jette opened the small paper inside, and she reads it…

Her thoughts wouldn’t slow down. She began flipping through every page, desperate for sense. Then she noticed something strange, tiny marks in the corners of some pages. Dots. Circles. A pattern. She counted them, one, two, three, four… eight. The eighth marked page was the last one. She turned it slowly. It was blank. Or so it seemed. When she tilted the notebook toward the light, faint pencil impressions appeared, shadows of words written on a missing page that had been torn out.

Smaller ones, thin like an old bible, yellowed with page break apart. Once there pages were successfully separated, I carefully put the knife down, not wanting to slice any pages or myself. The pages smelt like mould and looked ancient, they looked like they would be grimy to the touch but they felt like silk. The amount of small little pages were like a book of their own, how could this be hidden away for so long and no one notice it?

Then I got up and went to the drawer. Took out the six pages. Read them from the beginning the way I always did, slowly, every word, every crossed out line and every sentence I had come back to. By the time I reached the end the city outside had gone properly dark and the kitchen was lit only by the lamp in the corner and I had been sitting there long enough that the chair had become uncomfortable and I had not noticed. I picked up the pen. Added two more pages. Eight pages now.

Elle sat at her table and stared at the laptop, “A romance novel, eh?” She heaved a sigh shaking her head, “What the point it was all cliche, he ate my ears complaining how bad it was.” She pouted sulkily. She opened the laptop regardless and placed her fingers on the keyboard, she closed her eyes and took a deep sigh, “Fine, let’s give it a go,” She nodded determinedly. With the start of the novel, her fingers moved in a flow, the words went in a flow, she spent her day and night in front of the laptop, 3 weeks later, her book was done, she wiped her tears as she stared at her completed manuscript.

The tale sent shivers down her spine; it was so wonderfully written, and the emotions that came from it were too real. As she read, a gust of wind suddenly blew across the room, and the pages flipped. She was surprised, knowing that she had already closed everything. However, before she could even bother to worry about where that wind came from, she was already drawn to a section where the pages had landed. It was about a ceremony for the werewolf prince to choose his mate. The possible mates were all invited to their palace to participate in this very important event. After the ceremony, the prince would then take over the title of King.

It was a section of the library dedicated entirely to novels, a vast treasure trove of fiction from around the world. Ashley's eyes sparkled with anticipation as she took in the towering shelves, each one packed with row upon row of novels. The smell of old leather-bound books mixed with the faint scent of the underground air, creating a unique atmosphere that felt like a secret garden of stories waiting to be explored.

I said referring to the novel in his hand. "Yeah i'm almost done with it,it's also great" Mig said and continued reading. I don't want to rush this novel,i want to savor every bit of it. I'm a fast reader,i could finish reading a novel in an hour but not like this novel..It seems unique. Did i just say i'm a fast reader? How did i know that?...cause this novel seems my first..Or; Have i read any novel before this? Am i a lover of novels? I asked myself trying hard to remember but i felt a sharp pain tore through my head...I cried out.

and opened it. My jaw dropped as I began reading the story. It was twenty-five pages, according to the little bar at the bottom of the document. But those pages were full size, so I figured it would probably be something closer to a hundred page novella. Fortunately, I was a fast reader. And once I got halfway through the first chapter, I was completely hooked. The story was about a college professor who was being seduced by a young girl in his class. By "young", I mean early twenties. My age. Which made the scene descriptions very easy for me to relate to.
