Sarah is a dominating CEO who has a dark mysterious past. She was born in an unchartered island in Southeast Asia. Having experienced poverty at a very young age, she vowed to be the first female in their place to be successful in life. Lucky enough, a benefactor supported her financially so she can get into college and achieve her dreams. This is where she met Mark, the lone heir to a multi-million dollar company based in the Philippines. Their relationship went sour when Mark got depressed and broke up with her brought by jealousy since Sarah was able was able to graduate and he did not because of his carefree attitude. In spite of what transpired, Sarah continued pursuing her dreams. It is at this time that her past starts haunting her each time there is a blood moon. At nights like this, she transforms into a creature known as a manananggal, a half-woman with the wings of a bat who sucks blood out of her victims. Unfortunately, Mark’s mom and dad became one of them. Mark promised to kill Sarah and avenge the death of his parents. He even went to the extent of hiring a group called the ghost hunters to try and track her down. He also posted a price on the head of Sarah so the bounty hunters would go after her too. In one of their skirmishes, Sarah was captured. Mark devised a plan to save her and was successful. They both ran away into the mountains to escape their inevitable demise. But fate has its way of unfolding. Sarah bore a son out of her relationship with Mark. At first, they were not sure if their son inherited the curse of the manananggal. Their son inherited the curse of the blood thirst.

Marcus P.O.V Catalina Island was the territory of my park and we had been trained not to reveal our identity to humans, but our only fear was the birth of a Primordial Guardian werewolf which was to put an end to all immortals including vampires and werewolves. I stayed away from her in order to keep her safe but that wasn't until I realised that my park had known who it was and knowing they were going to kill her I had to send her far away from the Island. I was either going to give her up to a human mate and suffer for the rest of my life, or take her despite the difficulties thereby turning my back on my park, or kill her and myself to save the life of my park.

Amelia Garcia and Noah Moore, the first main characters gets introduced as enemies as they belong to both rich families who had been rivals for generations. These both are the most powerful and dominant ones who rule the business world. Mateo Williams, the second main character works for Noah but joins in a secret agency which works under Amelia, later gets appointed as her bodyguard because of her parent's sake as they were scared of losing her because Amelia wins a challenge which was given by Noah and he suddenly vanishes somewhere. Amelia falls in love with him but Mateo doesn't care about her feelings at first and then he gets into a secret relationship with her. After getting to know this, Noah searches information about him and reveals to her that he was cheating on her with her sister and concludes that he was in love with her since they first met as enemies. He explains that he behaved like her rival just to protect her from his family who wanted to destroy her so he takes the charge and never tried to kill her. Amelia understands him and they end up together but before they could react for how Mateo betrayed her, he escaped from her.
