Cass waited until the deadbolt clicked behind her before she set the envelope on her coffee table. The apartment was quiet—too quiet. Even the city’s usual hum seemed muffled through the rain streaking her windows. She sat, letting her fingers hover over the silver-inked initials. Whoever had sent this hadn’t just known her name—they’d known her real one. Not the polished, harmless Cass Blake everyone met in daylight. The flap opened without resistance. Inside was a single sheet of matte black paper, the message printed in faint grey type, like a whisper in ink:

'From a die-hard fan. That was the first bouquet, and the second one she received the moment she walked into the studio for the shoot with the same card. Then, in the entire day, she got eight bouquets from her die-hard fan. 'Who on earth is my die-hard fan sending these?' She thought while staring at the card and found something at the back of it. Every card has an alphabet; she checked. Those were 'Y' 'I' 'O' 'E' 'U' 'V' 'O' 'L'. She solved the puzzle, and a smile broke on her lips.

It was too bad to be true. As I heard footsteps approach, I turned around and saw Toralei walking towards me with a smile on her lips. “Hey, babe. I hope I didn’t keep you waiting?” she said as she walked up to me. I nodded slightly. She reached for her pocket and handed me a small envelope, “One of my friends is having a birthday party tonight and I need a plus one. Would you like to go with me?” “Errr…I’m not sure.” I tend to make mistakes at parties.

"What are you basing that on?" his bicep tensed when I moved to a tattoo closer to the sleeve of his shirt: a deck of cards "You don't know anything about me."

"Stop calling me with that nickname, I'm not your girlfriend anymore." "That's right, because if you were then you would have been under me by now moaning my name out while s*ck up that sweet nectar of yours leaving you breathless. She had been whispering sweet nothings to me while making promises to other men. To her, Francis was merely the biggest fish in her sea. As Francis flipped through the pages, his face turned pale. Suddenly, he looked up, his eyes filled with hatred. "Yvonne Singer, you lying bitch! I'll kill her!" he screamed, lunging toward the door. I said nonchalantly, "Too late. She can barely protect herself now. She has no time to deal with your feelings." Then, I turned my gaze to Zoey. Her body stiffened instantly as she stared at me in terror.

She whispers, but I get her feeling. It takes a lot for Hazel to open up with anyone. If she is saying or confessing her love for anyone, then I must say that person genuinely wins a Nobel Prize. In my eyes, that’s the greatest thing to do. Making Hazel secure enough so she can be vulnerable enough to talk about her feelings is an outstanding achievement for humanity. And Brian did that. He did the same thing with my heart, too. With his silly words, stupid behavior, annoying frown, bad temper, cute smile, intense sex, sweet gestures, hungry kisses, unlimited tolerance for my rubbish, he wins my heart in a heartbeat.

She hadn't realized it was Thursday until she landed on channel 39, which corresponded to GHShow, and came across an episode of "The Key to the Heart." Parker tried to deceive herself, pretending not to be curious about what was happening on the show and who Nicholas would choose to eliminate that night. She briefly flipped through other channels but ended up returning to the fateful 39.
