How it Ends
The Persian immediately pulls back the spear, thrusting it again at me; fear fills my up in my body, it’s one of those near death moments again.
My muscles tense up, I try to pull up my shield but I know he’s faster than me but I try anyway. I hear the Persian shout right before he stabs me; I pull back my shoulder lessening the impact of the spear. The spear first grazes my armor then it cuts through my right shoulder. I feel the blade pierce my skin, followed by the warm sensation of blood escaping my body. The Persian pulls out the spear and then aims it at my chest for the killing blow, my mind begins to empty, my life begins to flash before my eyes, and for the first time I realize that
