He gave a gift that contained a summoning game board called The Ouija Board. While Beverly and Sarra are working on an assignment together, Sarra suggests inviting another of their friends to play the board. It just so happened that there were only the two of them because Beverley's parents weren't home. The catastrophe started after that. One by one they mysteriously disappeared. No one knows where they are. The police also searched but did not produce any clues. Beverly and her remaining friends try to find a way to find their friends.
