North lost track as Mariwyn wish-listed her harem, all composed of men North had never met and didn’t know how to visualize. Instead, she stroked the fabric and listened to Mariwyn, who was lost in her fantasy. For North, she had already found her harem, and she had no interest in expanding it, but she enjoyed seeing Mariwyn’s clear delight at the idea of bringing together all the men who interested her. She wasn’t certain if Orin’s sister would actually go through with it, or if it was simply all talk, but she was happy to introduce her to the notion—and even happier to accept the fabrics Mariwyn gifted her more than an hour later, including the pink material.

A new subgenre that was gaining popularity. I swallowed hard. Was the universe mocking me? On impulse, I grabbed the book and hid it behind a few others on the shelf. I’d come back for it later, alone, and take it to my room. To cover my tracks, I picked up a random poetry book.

I felt so weak and wobbly that I thought I was going to fall on my way down the stairs. That’s it. Happy reading because that is a happy ending anyway, ahahaha!
