“Please,” I muttered, my voice barely above a whisper. His smirk widened, turning dangerous, and my heart skipped a beat. “Please what?” he asked, his tone mocking, daring. Heat flushed through me, my body betraying me under the weight of his gaze. My fingers tightened on his wrist, and I took a shaky breath before whispering, “Please make me come.” His eyes darkened further. “Daddy…” I mindlinked my father. I haven’t spoken to him in the 3 years I’ve been married. “Evelyn? What’s wrong?” My father asked, his voice was soft and yet was so superior. “I’m divorced” I told him solemnly. “Return home to the palace, my princess” my father ordered.

Aku mengepalkan tangan semangat, masih ada harapan untuk menyelamatkannya. Seseorang dengan manik kemerahan yang sudah menemani hariku yang suram. Diantara jejeran rank kelas atas seperti siren, werewolf, vampir dan makhluk lainnya ia masih mau memilih menemaniku yang hanya seorang manusia biasa pembuat onar di pusat penjualan.
