He screams just as my rogues enter the pack and kill everyone in sight. I shiver as I drink the last of the Alpha’s blood, killing him and having his Alpha power flow through me. I look around at the destruction and smile; I turn to one of the rogues. “Burn it all and let's move on to the next place...”

The Royal wolves are massive! Of course, I’d heard how big they were, and I have seen the King and Queen in wolf form. I just didn’t realise how big they were up close. The fight seemed to go on forever. Warriors and pack members joined in the fight, but the rogues just seemed to keep coming. It was as if they had some kind of machine that pumped them out. One died, and two took its place! There was so much going on around me, but I couldn’t tear my eyes away from Valsurus and the rogues tearing pieces out of him. Blood and flesh flew everywhere, and my heart sank. Even Lorcan Dalgaard isn’t immune to death should it see fit to take him.
