HE CHEATED, I CHOSE THE TWIN ALPHA

HE CHEATED, I CHOSE THE TWIN ALPHA

Persuasion was something I had always been good at. People liked to believe things that made them feel comfortable. And I knew exactly how to give them that comfort. My sister was no exception. “I’ll make her believe that I’m sorry,” I said quietly. The more I thought about it, the more confident I felt. “I’ll make her believe that I regret everything I did.” Once she believed that, the rest of my plan could start. Amelia suddenly leaned forward. “So tell me,” she asked curiously. “How strong is their relationship?”

Sold To The CEO

Sold To The CEO

I swear that this guy moves like a ghost. I sat down on the couch, I realised that there was a book on the table. I took it and it was one of my favourite author, it was Jane Austen and it was a first edition. I can only wonder how much it must have caused. Pride and Prejudice will always be my all time favourite literature. All in all I can say that being married doesn't seem to bad from where I was standing.

Mastering Charlotte

Mastering Charlotte

My wife-to-be. We wander around the city-centre, window shopping. There are any number of things I would like to buy her. I want to shower her with beautiful things: clothes, jewellery, perfume; but at any suggestion that I might reach for my wallet, she shies off and we move on. In the end, I persuade her to let me buy her a book; Bill Bryson's 'A Short History of Nearly Everything.' It's dawning on me that Charlotte has issues with accepting money from me....

From Prison To Power: Rise Of The War Goddess

From Prison To Power: Rise Of The War Goddess

The collar hung open just enough to expose part of his chest, giving him the dangerous look of a man who appeared polished and respectable right up until he ruined your life. Still drying her damp hair with a towel, Scarlett walked closer-and finally caught sight of the book title. -How to Build the Perfect Marriage. Scarlett almost choked. For a second, she'd thought he was reading something serious. Instead, it was basically relationship advice disguised as intellectual literature. Theron closed the book and looked up at her. Droplets of water slid from the ends of her hair, darkening the thin fabric of her nightdress and faintly outlining the pale skin underneath.

Whispers of Obsession; Innocent. Obedient. His.

Whispers of Obsession; Innocent. Obedient. His.

“I didn’t do it. There were so many books with the same covers, and it looked boring anyways.” His eyes never left mine, his expression didn’t falter, and he didn’t believe the fumbling in my words. He opened the book slowly; the book title on the front page was visible. Pride and Prejudice. His eyes returned to me, daring me to say the truth, daring me to admit it. “I didn’t… I was bored and curious.” He returned the book directly to the shelf and arranged it so it stood along with the other books. He didn’t leave; instead, he took another look and readjusted it.

The Alpha's Sanity

The Alpha's Sanity

Elizabeth “Marry me, Prince Ronald,” I said firmly so he would understand, “and you will never regret it.” I am never a good negotiator. That is why farming businesses did not interest me, unlike my mother. I grew up interested in how things work; not selling them to others. But as they said, one should know how to manipulate words for the usage of persuasion. Manipulation is how the world works, and I think bewitching the prince is one of the examples the red woman wanted me to do, so I should do it even if it is against my will.

DEVIL'S TRAP: MARRIED TO THE VETOED ALPHA

DEVIL'S TRAP: MARRIED TO THE VETOED ALPHA

She was actually too tired to read but she had nothing else to do while waiting for Nicklaus. Tiana opened the book and started reading at first forcing herself but then she got lost in the story. It was a story about a woman who wanted to learn how to win the heart of a man she had loved for a very long time and a very beautiful woman who could capture any man's heart with just a look. In the book, the beautiful woman teaches the unwanted one how to seduce a man completely, body, mind, heart and soul. " Hmm... how to seduce a man"

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

Her understanding of men was something I could never achieve, and her insights left me in awe. "That's why you've won the favor of a man like Atticus. He definitely has a favorable impression of you, and he can’t resist you. That's what’s most tempting to him." "Enough, stop it. You're giving me chills." I shot a glance at Lauren. "I never intended to tempt him.”

It was a good book. A lot of the mixup/changes in names/locations was very annoying. Wish we would have gotten a little more out of the ending of one of the main villains. Chapters also needed to be longer; a lot of money spent on this book for 5-6 pages per chapter.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

What is Living?

What is Living?

And that's when I forgot how ugly my name is from the way he spoke with his soft and soothing voice. "So, what can you say about..." "He's nice." "Nice? What else?" Ave nudged me. I sighed heavily. Why is she so curious about my reaction on that guy, anyway? "Can you just accept my answer?" I arched an eyebrow. She pouted her lips while holding my arm. I rolled my eyes and continue searching for a book. I ran my fingers through the rows of the books on the shelves before picking up ‘The Psychology of Perception by Vernon, M. D’ then placing it on the table.

The Devil Who Owes Me A Kiss

The Devil Who Owes Me A Kiss

She wove it carefully into her hair, securing an artful twist that suggested elegance without effort. The final item waited in tissue paper, modest yet precious beyond measure. Her well-worn copy of Pride and Prejudice bore the gentle scars of countless readings, its spine creased from years of seeking comfort in Austen’s wit. She had been clutching this very book the day she first encountered Henry Wynthorne properly, not merely as her parents’ friends’ son, but as a man whose laugh could illuminate an entire room. He had glanced at the cover with genuine curiosity, and she had treasured that moment of shared literary interest ever since. Perhaps tonight, she might finally find the courage
