Everything was taken away from me in just one night, my love, my joy, and my pack and everything I held dear to myself, all because of a stranger.
That night was the darkest in the history of the pack. The pack was attacked by a group of masked Werewolves and I was too young to understand what was going on.
But I could remember the sound of swords, the cries of women, and bodies lettered all around.
My mom held me in her arms running into safety while my father, the Alpha of the pack, guarded us and others to a safe place.
"Run, now, run," he said to me and my mum.
"Promise me that we are going to see each other again." My mom turned back to my father with tears flowing down from her eyes as she shivered hard with fear.
"I promise as long as I make sure everyone is safe from these bloodthirsty Werewolves." He returned and turned around to leave while I clutched the hands of my mother tightly.
We turned to leave but then, we heard the cry of a strange boy behind us making to turn around swiftly.
He was a little bit older than me and tears gradually dropped from his eyes.
My dad ran over to him and held him tightly in his arms. "Come with me, child." He whispered into his ears but before he knew it, he was surrounded by a group of armed men.
"Go down quick, hide." My mom whispered into my ears and we had to hide under the table before us. My legs were shivering and my heart was pounding hard.
"How long do you think you could run, Alpha of nothing." They growled at him as a burst of dark laughter escaped from their mouths.
"Who sent you fools?" My Father fired back at them but the men only shot laser glares at him.
"That should not interest you right now fool, you should be more scared for your miserable life." They thundered at him but there was not a single trace of fear in his eyes.
He launched angrily toward them in his wolf form but the masked men were already prepared for this.
"Stab." One of them ran a silver dagger, and another until he was already lifeless covered with blood.
I shivered hard with fear and tears dropped from my eyes. "Nooo." My mom yelled at the top of her voice running as fast as she could to the men and falling on my lifeless body father.
"What have we done to deserve this?" She yelled at the top of her voice as fresh tears poured down from her eyes.
"I can tell that you are the Luna and that is your daughter." The man who seemed to be their leader said.
"What have we done to you?" My mother growled at him and though I didn't know much I could tell that she knew about what was happening.
"My Revenge for what you Alpha did to me and my family." He glared at her and trusted the dagger through her heart. I was already shivering with fear and I could no longer constrain the tears that had formed in my eyes.
"What about the girl?" He inquired.
"Leave her only, she doesn't know anything about this." They said and walked away, leaving me only in the world. I lay before the dead body of my parents and sobbed my eyes out.
"Come back to me." I cried but that was only a wish, I knew that it could never happen.
That was over ten years ago but the memories of their death were still in my memory. After that drastic event, the Lycan King took over the pack and I was demoted to the lowest group of Alphas in the pack, the Omegas.
There were even rumors that he was the one that sent the guard to murder my father and for that reason, I had avoided him with my life because I was scared that he was going to stress me.
I was a servant in the duplex restaurant, I took the mop and cleaned it up as tears dropped from my eyes. I had no friends and was all alone in this big world.
I was already twenty and I still didn't have a wolf and for this reason, most people avoided me like a strange disease except my master who always beat me up with his leather belt at the slightest mistake.
I continued to work on the floor and accidentally bumped into someone in the hall.
I looked up quickly and noticed that it was a classic girl and from her wolf scent, I could tell that she was the daughter of a beta.
"How dare you, you piglet of an Omega." Her face twisted with hate and anger as she shot a deadly sneer at me.
"I am very sorry." I tried to say but she would not give me breathing space to even complete my statement.
"Don't you even have eyes on your head or apart from being dumb and dirty like some piece of thrash, you are also blind?" She growled at me.
I could feel my anger rising so bad that I clutched my hands and clipped my lips to the roof of my mouth to control it but the wolf had already noticed my mood swing.
"Slap." A hot Slap landed on my face making everyone in the hall turn around immediately.
"How dare you get angry at me you piglet." She growled at me.
I could no longer control my rising anger, "slap." I slapped her on her face and only realized what I had done when the deed was already done.
"My boss is going to kill me." I thought in my head already shivering with fear. She continued to stare at me already and then she screamed alerting my boss who was already there within a few minutes.
"What's wrong here, what have you done, fool." He growled at me apologizing to the lady.
"Your worker here slapped me for no reason, all because I corrected her." The Lady noted with tears already dropping from her eyes.
"I am very sorry madam, she will be severely punished for it." He assured her.
"You did what?" Arthur fired angrily at me with a thick frown hanging on his face.
"It wasn't my fault..." I tried to say but he would not listen to a single word that I had to say.
"Shut up and come with me._ he ordered.
I followed him closely and he took me to the basement and shut the door behind him. I was already shivering with fear knowing too well what he was going to do to me.
He brought out his belt from his waist as usual and began to whip my delicate skin with it while I continued to scream in pain. When he was done, I was on the floor crying. "Next time you will never dare that again." He thundered angrily at me while I wept.
"And remember, you don't even have a wolf and you Know what that means, you can never get a mate to pay all you owe me so you are likely mine Forever." He shot a deadly sneer at me.
His words struck me like lightning. I was gradually running off to twenty but still didn't have a mate.
Fresh tears escaped from my eyes as I thought about my life from my birth till now.
"I will have to end my life, I can't stand this anymore." I said to myself. I searched the place for any sharp objects and I found a silver dagger.
More tears flowed down from my eyes as I directed the dagger to my heart ready to trust through it and end everything there.
But then, they are the strangest thing that happened to me. I began to perceive a strange scent of ginger, so sweet that I could not help but continue sniffing.
Then, the biggest shock of my life came. "Mate." My wolf spoke for the first time and the dagger that I held in my hands fell to the ground and my jaws dropped.
"Mate?" I whispered to myself as fresh tears poured down from my eyes.
ELSA'S POVBy the time it was evening, I was sickly tired waiting for Arthur to show up. He had boldly asked me not to come, that I should enjoy my day but if I was honest, I swear that I had done anything but enjoy today. Be anxious? sure. Get mad? Definitely. Shiver? Hmm-mm. Get happy a tad? Sure again. I had rocked and rocked and rocked, getting so tired of waiting that evening. I was about to go west my fancy jacket and go have this uncertain conversation with him that is scary with him when the door knob turned and I froze. Arthur came in and to my pleasure and displeasure, he wore a giant smile on his face probably happy that he could finally see me, honestly after my mini-investigation in the semi-afternoon, I was not so sure anymore."Hey, well... Aren't you a sight for sore eyes. A kiss?" He asked, walking towards me in such a hurry, you might mistake me for the breath of life. He looked so good and I knew I could get easily distracted by that but I chose not to. I rose a han
ELSA'S POVOur wedding night had not been what I thought it was going to be. It was everything I imagined and more and the fact that I did not get any sleep was pleasing instead of stressful. When I opened my eyes the next morning, I could not find Arthur, I sat up, rubbing my eyes from the pleasing exhaustion at the same time. I looked around and if I was being honest just as I felt different, in a good way, the room looked different too. So different and good too. I flashed a smile to myself as I thought that of course it would look different because I was not in my room, I was in Arthur's room or if I was being accurate, I would say my room. I got up from the bed and walked swiftly to the mirror, naked. I looked at myself in the mirror and not only did I feel different, I looked different. There were hickeys on my neck and ear, it was certainly an interesting look. I wore the robe I found on Arthur's side of the bed, which was made and a white card that had little hearts on it. I
ELSA'S POVThe big wedding was in motion. I mean the planning was in motion but it was the same thing. Most people were so surprised when Arthur gave the announcement that day. Shocked to the brim and beyond while some smiled and nodded their approval. The rest just glared at me as though they would have loved to stab me with a knife if it was allowed. Shreds. And I did not even blame them, I was still surprised myself. I was so excited just as I was anxious. I still had a baby growing in me and I did not know the father and I was freaking out. I could scratch my own eyes out. Just as the wedding planning was in set, so was my running away planning. I needed to flee with my head still intact."What are doing in here staring at the wall?" I turned and saw Nia standing at the door with an amused look on her face. I flashed her a smile and shook my head slowly, thinking of what to say. "Arthur has been smiling since yesterday, I am so surprised that his jaw is not been hurting yet." She
ELSA'S POVI had no idea that there was a cabin back here. When Emily directed me here it was like she had been blabbing. I had walked this whole place and this was the first time I was seeing this place. I guess the structure of the house was weird. I stood in front of the 'invisible' cabin and searched for the most important words at that moment. I knew the words I wanted to say were that I loved him so much, that l was willing to put away the paralysis of fear that held me down, and that I wanted to be his wife. That I was going to be his wife. That was the most important one. I took three bold and quiet steps up the small stair that had its wood painted red. Nice.My stomach rumbled in fear and my heart thudded against my chest. I raised my hands to knock and surprisingly on the first attempt it landed on the door with a very faint thud, produ
NIA'S POV"I wanted it to be a surprise for you. But I just needed something to give me an edge and make you listen to me. I love you and if staying here will make you believe it then I'm staying here and I'm not leaving. But that depends on what you think of it all. I need to be sure that you are comfortable with it. I don't want to shove anything down your throat and force you to want this just because I do. Do you understand?" He asked and I nodded. A big smile on my face."Woah. I love how you put things and I love that you are doing this for me. You have no idea how much it means to me, Silas. I have never been in love and most importantly I have never had someone love me to the extent of wanting to make a big change as big as what you just announced to make me happy. And I love you too. So much." I said and he closed his eyes for a moment, s
NIA'S POVThere he was. Silas, sat at the edge of the large rock everyone seemed to like. I smiled lightly at the cliche of happy things. I had searched everywhere for him, now that I think about it, why did I not search for him here before going to their tent area? Silly of me.I walked further into the space and I saw a striking blonde woman, who if I was being honest, I had nothing on. Why was Silas talking to this woman out here in the love garden? And why was I suddenly comparing this woman whom I did not know to myself? Insecurities were never a friend. Silas turned to look at them and immediately stood up, putting a clever distance between the both of them as if they were close. They were not. So why was he tripping?"Hey! Um... Hi." He said, grasping for words to say. I gave him a tight-lipped smile and nodded to tell him that I had heard the first greeting and he did not need to repeat it."Hi, if you have a company that would stay long then maybe I should come back, I was th
