Alex and I looked at each other, both of us confused. "What is going on?" I whispered. "I do not know," Alex replied, his face giving nothing away. I followed the trail of petals, my crutches tapping softly against the floor. They led through the living room, through the glass doors, and out to the garden patio. And there... I stopped, my breath catching in my throat. The patio had been completely transformed. A large table sat in the center, covered with an elegant white tablecloth. Candles flickered everywhere on the table and along the surrounding walls creating a warm and romantic golden glow.

Brandon, the event planner I hired appears from behind the tall blue and pink cake, rounding the tables filled with blue and pink snack, and accessories. He pushes his glasses on his face, a clipboard in his hand. “Miss Carlisle, Mr Jax.” “You did a wonderful job with this place, Brandon.” “Thank you,” he blushes. “So, everything is all set up. In the center of each table stood a stunning floral arrangement, housed in large golden vases decorated with images of wolves. I couldn't help but admire how well the decorations were put together. Each piece was carefully chosen to make the event more elegant. The delicious appetizers caught my attention, practically calling my name, and my mouth watered at the thought of tasting them.

Elegant drapes in rich colors and gold accents frame the entrance, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and grandeur. Tables were draped with luxurious burgundy tablecloths, adorned with gold chargers and exquisite china. Towering floral centerpieces, consisting of red roses, orchids, and cascading greenery, bring a touch of elegance to each table. Gilded candlesticks with flickering candles add a warm glow to the surroundings.

They all were indifferent to me. Things weren't better in the garden. People were running upside down in a hurry. Some placed chairs and tables, while others decorated the pergola with various flowers and colorful ribbons.
