It made her stand out. I was surprised to see she wore glasses. Photochromic lenses obscured her eyes, but they seemed to be the most interesting shade of bluey green. Said glasses didn’t appear to be a prop or some fashion statement either. They seemed to be corrective lenses. What the fuck? Wolves didn’t suffer declines in vision.

Parker ranted at him while reaching his hand to stand him up. "What do you mean near death?" the guy asked while rubbing his butt. As he stood up full on his legs, he got taller an inch than the two boys with a little less muscular bodies. Vance had paler skin than the rest and golden brown hair. His green eyes were as mesmerizing as some magical stone. He was dressed in a half sleeves blue T-shirt showing off his biceps with black jeans and a pair of sneakers. He had a pendant on his neck, and his fingers were filled with rings.

“These glasses are an obstruction.” He slid them off, placing them aside neatly, like fragile evidence. “Don’t wear them again,” he murmured. My eyes widened. “Without them I won’t—” He didn’t even let me finish. He strode to his desk, pulled open a drawer, and revealed a small velvet box. He flipped it open, and I nearly screamed from happiness. Contact lenses, Correctional ones. “Wear these from now on,” he said. My brain shut down. For years I wanted contacts. Glasses had always been an annoyance, fogging up, sliding down, making me feel like a malfunctioning librarian. And now… I was holding the solution.

"You know what, Summer? I'm a good person. I think I should help you up." He extends his hand. I stare at it like it's a snake. Every instinct screams not to touch him, not to give him anything he can use against me. I push myself up on shaking arms, ignoring the sting in my scraped palms. My glasses. Where are they… I spot them a few feet away. The frame is cracked, one lens completely shattered. Those were new. I saved for two months to buy them because my mom couldn't afford another pair and I needed them to see the board in class.

Her eyes were locked onto mine and her breathing became soft as my eyes narrowed and darkened, pulling her into my gaze. Her eyes began to darken too and soon, she was completely silent and mesmerized by my eyes on hers. “The doctors say that it’s fine for you to let me see her,” I said calmly. “In fact, they’ve been waiting for me to come, and they are pleased that I am here. My name is Dr. Joseph Evergreen and I’m the only one who can help Miss Parker.”

I allow myself a momentary relaxation, leaning against an oak tree for support. His eyes briefly meet mine, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. He runs his fingers through his dark brown hair, which he has chosen to keep its natural shade, eschewing his usual lighter locks. At present, he sports Thor-themed camping socks and even has Spider-Man figures drawn by Blanca adorning his Timberland boots. It's his way of proudly proclaiming his love for his father to both the paparazzi seeking lucrative shots and anyone who cares to pay attention.

I leaned back against the door, eyes nearly fluttering at the sound of his voice, the warm breath from his mouth. I stared at him pointedly, forcing my voice to sound firm, but it only came out as a whisper. “Then I guess you missed one tiny detail about me, Mr. Stalker.” The glasses only protected my eyes from screens because I couldn’t stare at a bright screen for too long without black spots in my vision. So I didn’t have it on all the time. Amusement flickered in Alaric’s eyes and he let out an amused breath which had no damn business causing my core to pulsate.

I exclaimed Chrissy came in just then. "Done yet?" he asked Xavier "C-Chrissy he's got a...his eyes g-green..." I stammered "W-Why are they.....w-What the hecks going one with you freaks!" The boys laughed. "He's got a high tech camera in his eye." Cristaino explained "It's in the form of contacts."

She looked at Peter and asked, "What's your name?" Peter glanced at Theodore before he said, "Peter, Young Miss." He held his chest and bow slightly. After introducing himself, he stood up straight again. Peter had his mouth and nose covered with his black mask, he is also tall. However, his eyes don't show any emotion. Peter would mostly show his emotions thru his actions. Just like a while ago, he would tremble if he's scared. He wore full black clothes. Peter had his short hair tied, his eyes were black like an onyx. Soheila still had her slight smile on as she glanced over at Theodore. "I'll cook," She said shortly.

"Don't put words in my mouth. I said you're a dummy, a blockhead." Angered, Peter took his sceptre and pointed it at Lavana. "I'm gonna teach you a lesson today, Lavana," he yelled but at this moment, he saw her eyes turn orange. He became confounded. How is it possible for a werewolf to have this pair of eyes? They didn't even look like they belong to a wolf either. Was it because of her wolf that had firepower? "So, you want to teach me a lesson, eh?" as she said this, ice chains came out of her hands and wrapped around Peter's neck. They weren't tight but the chill emanating from these chains around his neck spelt danger!
