OPHELIA'S PECCATORE

(little one)he asked. Ophelia found herself in some kind of trance like he had suddenly captured her body and her mind. Voice in the back of her head was yelling at her to take a step back considering how close they were standing and she could feel his breath on her face. This was all wrong this man might have saved her but he seemed a lot more dangerous than the previous guy and the way her body was disobeying her Cummins she knew that this man was trouble. "Ophelia" she muttered in a small voice.

REVENGE OF THE PHANTOM HEIRESS

Theo said They walked to the elevator together, and Berry noticed that Theo seemed distracted and kept checking his phone every few minutes. "Are you expecting an important call?" she asked. "Not exactly. Just keeping an eye on messages." The elevator arrived, and they rode down to the lobby in comfortable silence. The Phantom Wolf

The Phantom Wolf

Its ears had stood up straight, searching for the source of the sound, slowly breathing through its muzzle as its eyes searched round in the darkness and the woods for the one who made such sound It still had a Mark on its claws. The other had shifted back to his human form, and his pain had increased with his shifting process. He was weak beyond imagination. The Phantom was a powerful beast that night, and his strength had failed him when it came to fighting such a monstrosity. It searched until its eyes had caught the sight of something hidden within the trees. It intentionally reduced his breath, breathing slowly while it strained its eyes deeply into viewing what it had suspected to be t

DEATH REINCARNATE

DEATH REINCARNATE

“Very well then.” The pentagram of time then drew around them. With the gate that is distinct and only pertains to the Mistress of time. The book appears in its hallowed state, with only the purple neon light that draws its outline. The book opens as the sound of the flipping pages is echoing, and stopping at a particular point. As the Mistress of time, smiled and said. “Winona Bell.”

The Duke And His Four Wards

The Duke And His Four Wards

All four were absorbed in nodding and waving to friends and acquaintances as the lights went out. The first act consisted of a short piece by a little-known Italian composer, as the prelude to the opera itself, which would fill the second and third acts, before another short piece ended the performance. Margaret sat, happily absorbed in the spectacle, beside and slightly in from of her guardian. She was blissfully content. She had merely made a comment to Felix a week before that she would like to visit the opera. Two days later, he had arranged it all. Now she sat, superbly elegant in a silver satin slip overlaid with bronze lace, and rebelled in the music, conscious, despite her preoccupat

A Farewell to Deceitful Love

A Farewell to Deceitful Love

After ensuring his eyesight was perfect, he respectfully said to Andrew, “Sir, someone is looking for you. Here he is.” “You’re telling me he’s the CEO?!” Aaron yelled agitatedly. The guests were all looking at us. “This is a scammer, he’s faking to be the CEO. You should get him out of here!” The guests were looking at Aaron as if they were looking at an idiot. They started murmuring. “Who’s he? I’ve never seen him before.” “I saw him talking to the CEO for a very long time. Now, he’s saying he doesn’t know the CEO. I bet he bought his invitation.”

Alpha Stepfather Is My Mate!

Alpha Stepfather Is My Mate!

I was going to take him down and make Olivia mine, just as she should have been all these years ago. "I have to go now," I said to Dylan without looking at him. "But keep me posted on any other updates." I walked away from him and headed back to the mansion. Just as I was about to go in, I noticed a car pull up in front of the mansion. I hesitated for a while and saw Pierre come out and open the back door. I watched him pull out a stack of books, and he began to walk towards the mansion with them. I was able to catch the titles on the spine of some of the books: Acrophyia, Deorum posteri, Dea lunae.

Frustration mounted in him as he tried to find a clue. *** Neil Titus, a demon, and the director of the Shadow Crawlers, sat with a grim look as his dark eyes scanned the reports. His thick brown hair was combed back, and his posture radiated concern. With a loud sigh, he got up and smoothed the tailored suit.

The Healer's Bond

The Healer's Bond

“Does it bite?” Steve snorted. “Probably.” They reached a circular antechamber at the end of the hall where a massive tome—several feet tall and wider than a table—sat on a pedestal of smoldering glass. The book was open, its pages turning themselves. Emma stepped forward and placed her hand on the edge of the platform. Immediately, flames curled around her wrist—not burning, but connecting. Visions surged. --- Emma Sees the Past

Into His Darkness

Into His Darkness

“Well, literally, the woman led astray. It’s based on Alexander Dumas’s book, La Dame aux Camelias.” I opened the strange book Roxy gave me. It was torn from several places, most of its pages were unrecognizable, it was all tattered and torn but some of its pages were still intact. From the first look of it I can tell it was more than hundred years old. Roxy handled it with care as I can clearly saw how she had tried to bind it. I flipped through the pages. I can’t understand anything as expected. After I turned to the twenty page, I saw a white page stapled with the main page of the book. my first guess was that it was Roxy’s writing.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!
