Healing The Rogue Alpha

Healing The Rogue Alpha

My gut feeling kept telling me this was important, this Blood Moon Ritual that Andre spoke about, and not just because of the obvious reasons…there was a deeper meaning to it all. “Got it!” Daphne’s voice broke me out of my trance and both Emma and I hunkered down next to her, to look inside the contents of the first drawer. “Wait…what’s this?” We pulled out the large, thick file like thing that was wrapped in a piece of cloth that looked old enough to have been Cleopatra’s floor rag. But when we took it off with care, there was a hard-bound file with several thick papers inside that appeared to be the handmade kind.

The Pales

The Pales

He packed them up, and made his way towards the refrigerator aisles hoping to find water. On his way there he heard something, he froze and Listened. Then he was sure. It was heavy breathing. The Pales were frightening, the biggest stood eight feet tall and were a formidable entity. They had claws to tear their prey apart like a lioness tearing into a meal. The Secretly Rich Man

The Secretly Rich Man

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.

The Cobra of Smoke - The Burden of Sight

The Cobra of Smoke - The Burden of Sight

"For the museum." "Ah." The woman's expression brightened with recognition. "You must be from the Metropolitan Museum of Ancient Arts. We get several of your researchers in here. Dr. Hassan was just asking about similar materials last month." Shantali's pulse quickened. "Dr. Hassan?" "Egyptologist on your staff, I believe. Lovely woman, very thorough in her research. She was particularly interested in the Ka-Wadjet prophecies." The librarian pulled up a catalog entry. "Here we are—I can get you started with Blackwood's *Ritual Smoke Practices of the Late Period* and Mahmoud's translation of the *Papyrus of the Serpent's Breath*. Fair warning though, some of the source material suggests these
