Farrah didn’t hesitate to follow, curiously looking at the person inside the room. It was a man, shirtless, with an outstanding figure. He was holding hefty dumbbells with both hands. In Farrah’s estimate, this dumbbell probably weighs gigantic. The man finally noticed Twilight and Farrah. With a distorted face, he screeched. “What the h*ck is your problem, old hag? Not even knocking! And who the hell is this woman?” Sadly, it didn't affect Twilight even when called an Old Hag. She just tilted her chin and said to Farrah, “Dr. Lee, the sharp-shooter of the team, Patrick.”

His parents were murdered in their pack six hours away, when he was only three years old. His mother was mom’s older sister. She took him in as she didn’t trust his father side of the family. Danny is mated to Camilla, and they share a daughter who was born a year before A’Lena. “Ena… mooshy.. mooshy” I tickle her tummy. Somewhere above them, Danny was still eleven minutes away from finding out his empire had a hole in it. "I'm not backing out," she said. The doors opened on eighteen. They heard it before they saw it — a phone slammed down hard enough to carry through a closed office door, then Danny's voice, sharp and rising, telling someone to get Marchetti's office back on the line immediately. His assistant flinched at her desk as Andy and Hannah walked past, unhurried, like they had every reason to be there and no idea anything was wrong. Danny's door was open when he saw them.

The face that greets me is not the one I was hoping to see. "Hello, sweetie pie," Danny says, smiling. But I can tell it's fake, even though the only light source is the moon. Danny is dark-skinned. His black hair is styled in a low cut, and he has a beard. The Dolce & Gabbana suit he's wearing does little to hide his muscles. I'd be lying if I said he wasn't ripped. To sum it up, Danny is a gorgeous man, but even with all his handsomeness, he is the worst romantic partner I have ever met-except Jacob if I'm including that horrible human being in the running, too.

He took the spoon from me and started shoving the food into his mouth. He wasn't enjoying it. He was eating like a machine. Like he was just fueling a body he didn’t want to own anymore.
